The present functional constructive invention relates to the manufacture of packages in a single final body, which will serve for the transport and display of cut flowers, foliage or live plants, with or without water, these being packed vertically. With a single body it is meant that the box is uniform and is composed of a single type of waterproof material, such as copolymer of polypropylene and pigments or any other, being able to join the pieces that make it with staples or through cuts and folds, and It has an innovative waterproof compartment, which together with its pre-cut system, results in a container where the hydrated flower can be transported and displayed.
AntecedentesBackground
The packages currently used for the transport of flower with water or hydrated serve to move the flower from one place to another, and to display the flower at the final points of sale; For example, the hydrated and cut flower is transported from the producer through the entire distribution chain to the point of sale, where the flower could even be displayed in the same packaging in which it has been transported.
The aforementioned objective has been achieved so far using combined packages of various materials of different types in order to achieve tightness, and thereby make water transport viable.
This prior technology is reflected in inventions protected by patents granted in the United States of America, which are detailed below: • US Patent 3,127,011: it relates to a cylindrical container for storage and transport of cut flowers (one unit), and more particularly to a container that protects long-stemmed flowers, in water, for display.

In general, the constructive solutions offered in the market respond to equivalent combinations between parts, which fit into each other, joining the pieces by mechanical means, such as pieces that press against each other or require pins to hold them together.
The innovation to be presented shows a new design and concept of transport of cut flowers in water that makes the alternative to export or distribute hydrated flower more competitive, especially guaranteeing the exporter and importer that the flower will be transported from the producer to the point of final sale in the same container, without needing to be repackaged.
Currently, due to the high cost of hydrated flower packaging, exporters and importers mostly opt for the lower cost of using cardboard boxes, where the flower travels dehydrated until it reaches the wholesale outlets, even though the flower should be removed from the cardboard packaging and transferred to plastic buckets for hydration and distribution to the points of sale, representing higher costs in the distribution chain and with a high risk that it will be damaged in handling. The models At present, such as that of US 5,060,799, although they fulfill the function of transporting hydrated flowers, their design and composition of materials makes the cost of the box and air freight for transportation too high. In addition, since it is a rigid package, the handling of these models requires greater care, as explained below.
In the flower distribution chain, the boxes are subject to heavy handling, condensation of moisture in cold rooms, and the risk that some of the water in the watertight bucket can moisten and deteriorate the cardboard. These mishaps and others that may happen, affect the box to a lesser or greater degree, which among one of its materials uses waxed cardboard (in most cases) that which is subjected to moisture and possible splashes of water, is affected resistance and original physical conditions, being able in some cases to mistreat the flower and even cause possible diseases. To this it should be added that the mixed packages that are currently used for the transport of hydrated flowers are of considerable weight, and produce a certain amount of unnecessary additional cargo, which implies a significant increase in air freight costs for the transport of flowers fresh.
The current trend in the world, and in this particular case for the flower industry, is to look for valid alternatives that lead to the reduction of production costs and the improvement of quality, with the consequent optimization in the distribution chain and in the delivery of a product with superior final quality. The alternative proposed in this model is that of the total change in the design and in the packaging materials that are currently used to transport hydrated cut flowers.
Explicación de la InvenciónExplanation of the Invention
The innovation that we present here refers to a box with a watertight compartment, for the transport of flower cut with water; innovation that responds to an original constructive conception, with the use of a single waterproof material to form the box, polypropylene copolymer and pigments or other, with their respective clips for joining the pieces that form it. The mechanics of armed is of simple form, that in addition to its functional efficiency, moves away all possibility of failures in its operability, adding to this fact that the use of a single material represents a reduction of costs, and reduction of time of armed and of the Risk in handling.
One of the objectives of this innovation is to make a box that has a watertight compartment for the transport of flower cut in water, and the option of displaying the flower in the same package in which it has been transported. For this purpose, it uses three sheets of a waterproof material, for example polypropylene and pigment copolymer or other, rectangular, with two folds, dies, precuts and holes for the ventilation of the flower (see figures 1, 2, 3, and 11) . The main feature of this innovation is that it has a sheet that forms the compartment or sealed container, of 100% waterproof material, (see figure 3), which folds for easy assembly and introduction into the base of the box, thus ensuring the tightness of it.
With this system, it is favored that the cut flower be transported with water in a less heavy and more compact design packaging, thus reducing the transport load volume. This innovation offers greater efficiency in the management of the packaging inventory of the producers, since the sheets (which form the box) can be stacked optimizing the warehouse space; The new packaging is designed to be easy and quick to assemble, by simply bending and stapling the sheets. This system better supports the cold chain, offering adequate ventilation of the flower, thus extending its life and quality. Finally, it is an efficient design that facilitates the handling of the box without spoiling its contents and offers the option of displaying the product in the same package thanks to its pre-cut system, located at a distance determined by market requirements, saving time and additional material to the flower display. These innovations are intended to achieve a substantial improvement in the costs of packing and transporting hydrated flowers. For a better understanding, we have added schemes of this box or packaging in polypropylene and pigment copolymer, with the following dimensions in cm: 66x38x28, where the precut system is 35cm high and the height of the waterproof compartment is 15cm. The weight and mechanics of the box that has been used for this case, has been 550gr / m2 for the sheets that form the box and 400gr / m2 for the sheet that forms the watertight compartment, giving the box enough resistance to bear a weight of up to 70 kilos on it; taking as reference the maximum number of boxes of these dimensions that can be stacked in an airplane or other means of transport that is 3 to 4 units of 12 kilos each. This gives us a guideline that, according to the market and specific needs of the client, the box can be manufactured in grammages ranging from 400gr / m2 to 620gr / m2 or even more. As a reference, analyzing the market and its customs, three standard dimensions in cm have been established for the moment and maintaining the height of the watertight compartment and the pre-cut system in the dimensions already detailed: small box, 66x38x28; medium box, 86x38x28; and big box, 106x38x28. Within the parameters and schemes of the packaging shown and described several modifications are possible. It is obvious that, not being the object of these schemes to represent the utility model, it cannot be used in any attempt to limit the real scope of the protection requested. This scope should be set as established by law and current practice in the field, with the help of the set of claims attached for this purpose.

Descripción para llevar a Cabo el Modelo de UtilidadDescription to carry out the Utility Model
Sheets that are two plates of identical shape, which are joined together with longitudinal flaps and folded by folds, (figure 1 detail 1) being able to way to be stapled or embedded along it, achieving the closing of the body of the box with a firm base. With these elongated flaps a double wall is achieved in the two opposite vertices (figure 15 detail 28), giving greater strength to the box. The sheet that gives the box its particularity so that it can be waterproof (figure 3) is formed by a single sheet of the same material in question, rectangular in shape like the others, with folds that give the shape of the waterproof compartment. The assembly of this body is a very simple operation. The watertight bucket is introduced to the bottom of the box, forming a double base for greater firmness. To better understand the assembly steps of the box and its watertight system, the assembly process is detailed below:
Para este caso en particular la escala que se usó es de 1:10, cada milímetro es igual a un centímetro.• Figures 1, 2 and 3 represent a view of the three sheets to be used in the box of our creation, where its general conformation is clearly shown in rectangular pieces, cuts, dies and folds for its assembly, the sheets of figures 1 and 2 have the following details: the flaps or longitudinal lips 1, the edge of the box 2, the flaps or lower lips 3, the flaps or upper lips 4, the breathing holes 5, the longitudinal groove 6 and small flaps 10 which they serve to close the box, the helical grooves 7 made for transport, which support the weight of the loaded object, the holes 8 and 11 that serve for breathing, circulation and non-condensation of moisture, small flaps 12 and grooves 13 which serve to stack boxes one on top of another, the circular plug 14 which serves both for extra ventilation and for cooling preheating or preheating, and precut or punch 9 used to tear the box. The pieces of figures 1 and 2 represent the sheets that form the box, and the sheet of figure 3 represents the sealed compartment, where the folds 15 and 16 serve to form it. For this particular case the scale used is 1:10, each millimeter is equal to one centimeter.
• La figura 4 representa la unión de las láminas de las figuras 1 y 2, que se doblan y se unen mediante pliegues y solapas engrapadas, formando la caja, con los siguientes detalles: solapas 3 y 4, orificios de respiración 5, 8 y 11, hendiduras helicoidales 7, solapas pequeñas y hendiduras para soporte de apilamiento 12 y 13, tapón circular 14, troquelado 9, engrapado 17, y las pequeñas solapas 10 y hendidura 6 que sirven para el cerrado de la caja.• Figure 4 represents the union of the sheets of Figures 1 and 2, which are folded and joined by folds and stapled flaps, forming the box, with the following details: flaps 3 and 4, breathing holes 5, 8 and 11, helical grooves 7, small flaps and grooves for stacking support 12 and 13, circular plug 14, die cut 9, stapling 17, and the small flaps 10 and groove 6 that serve to close the box.
Para darle mayor firmeza a la base se puede engrapar las uniones que la conforman.• Figures 5 and 6 represent the assembly of the base using movements 18 and 19, base born from lips or flaps 3 of the two sheets that form the box. To give greater strength to the base you can staple the joints that make it up.
Figures 7, 8 and 9 show the mechanics of the folds, represented by movements 20, 21 and 22.
• Las figuras 11, 12 y 13 representan la introducción del compartimiento estanco en la base de la caja y el cerrado de la misma, indicándose dicha introducción y cerrado con los movimientos 23 y 24.• Figures 11, 12 and 13 represent the introduction of the watertight compartment at the base of the box and its closure, indicating said introduction and closed with movements 23 and 24.
Figure 13 represents a perspective of the armed box, where you can see the folds, punches, holes and slits for the passage of the hand and the double faces that give firmness to the base where the watertight compartment is located. Having this scale drawing the dimensions in cm of: 66x38x28, where the precut is 35cm high and the waterproof compartment is 15 cm high.
The closing of the box is done by the upper lips 4, ensuring the closure with the flaps 10 and slits 6, which are born from the same sheets that form the box; This closing operation is sealed or secured with its proper enzyme to transport it. The disassembly operation of the box is very simple: it is executed by doing the reverse operation, this provides the opportunity to use the box several times and be able to store it in the form of sheets, saving space in the cellar and offering the opportunity to reduce costs.
The box itself is in the form of a rectangular base prism, with the grooves for transporting the closed box at the top 2cm of the precut on opposite sides. Thus, holes made for the adequate ventilation of the flower, including the helical grooves, can be found, favoring adequate prior cooling or preheating. The box has a predetermined die cut or precut, in this case 35cm from the base, which contours the entire perimeter of the prism. The pre-cut and start system provides the option to divide the box to display the flower cut in water, saving time and material costs. Below the predetermined die cut or precut are other grooves that they serve as handles (similar to those already detailed) for when it is necessary to transport the watertight bucket formed by the division of the box.
