Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Wirbeldurchflussmesser zur Erfassung der Durchflussmenge von flüssigen oder gasförmigen Medien in Rohrleitungen mit kreisförmigem Querschnitt. Ein derartiger Durchflussmesser soll dahingehend verbessert werden, dass seine Messgenauigkeit bei gleichzeitiger Reduzierung der Ein- und Auslaufstrecke wesentlich verbessert wird. Diese Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, dass mindestens zwei gleichmäßig auf den Messquerschnitt verteilte Wirbelerzeuger (10) zur Erfassung unsymmetrischer Geschwindigkeits-Verteilungen über den Messquerschnitt vorgesehen sind, deren Höhen-/Breitenverhältnis HWE/BWE ≤ 4 ist, und die in den Strömungsquerschnitt unterteilenden Leitkanälen (2) angeordnet sind, welche sich in axialer Richtung um mindestens 0,5 D (Rohr-Innendurchmesser) Länge zu beiden Seiten der Wirbelerzeuger (10) erstrecken und jeweils aus im wesentlichen parallel zu den Wirbelablösekanten (12 - 15) angeordneten Leitwänden (5, 7) und diese miteinander verbindenden Begrenzungswänden (3) gebildet sind, wobei sich die Wirbelerzeuger (10) von Begrenzungswand (3) zu Begrenzungswand (3) erstrekken.
