Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de biodétection destiné à la détection d'analytes biologiques, et des procédés d'utilisation et de réalisation. Le dispositif comprend un élément de biodétection qui peut rester implanté pendant des durées importantes. L'élément de biodétection est connecté à une fibre optique qui se termine à l'extérieur du corps. La fibre optique est également connectée à un dispositif d'analyse informations. Le dispositif d'analyse informations émet de la lumière par la fibre optique vers l'élément de biodétection. La lumière excite des fluorophores résultant d'une réaction chimique entre des analytes et de la matière de biodétection à l'intérieur de l'élément de biodétection. La lumière fluorescente émise est redirigée par la fibre optique vers le dispositif d'analyse informations. Des réseaux optiques disposés dans l'élément filtrant du dispositif d'analyse informations, dévient de façon sélective les émissions fluorescentes vers une gaine. Des détecteurs fixés à la gaine détectent les émissions fluorescentes déviées et, en fonction de leur longueur d'onde déterminée, reportent la présence d'analytes spécifiques ou la quantité de ceux-ci, chez le patient, sur un affichage externe.
