Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Nukleinsäuremolekül zur Regulation der Genexpression in Pflanzen, einen chimären Promotor, die Verwendung eines solchen Nukleinsäuremoleküls oder eines solchen Promotors zur pflanzlichen Pathogenabwehr sowie transgene Zellen und Pflanzen. Mit der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es erstmalig möglich, pflanzliche Abwehrreaktion gegen Nematoden lokal zu begrenzen. Bei dem erfindungsgemässen Nukleinsäuremolekül handelt es sich um ein Molekül, das; a. eine Sequenz gemäss SEQ ID NO. 1 aufweist oder; b. eine mit der Sequenz gemäss SEQ ID NO. 1 komplementäre Sequenz aufweist oder; c. ein Derivat der Sequenz gemäss a oder b aufweist oder; d. eine Sequenz aufweist, die mit einer der Sequenzen gemäss a bisc c hybridisiert, und das ein 5‘-Ende und ein 3‘-Ende besitzt, wobei stromaufwärts von dem 5‘-Ende keine weiteren regulatorischen Sequenzen vorhanden sind, die eine pathogeninduzierte Expression eines mit dem Nukleinsäuremolekül operativ verbundenen Gens derart beeinflussen, dass nach Pathogenbefall einer Pflanze neben einer lokalen Expression des Gens eine Genexpression auch in nicht vom Pathogenbefall unmittelbar betroffenen Gewebeteilen der Pflanze erfolgt.
