Definitions

  • This invention relates in general to a container but more particularly to a container for containing fluid filled liner.
  • Typical fluid containers are made of plastic materials that are disposed of after a single use, especially if they contain oil and other toxic materials. These types of fluid containers are hermetically sealed to prevent contamination of the fluid or leakage.
  • Another object is to provide a container wherein its upstanding walls are collapsible for facile storing and handling thereof. Still an object is to provide a container wherein its surface is ribbed providing reinforcement thereon.

  • Said collapsible container 10 comprises an open top generally rectangular container body 11 and an associated cover 12 removably mounted thereof, both preferably made from ribbed metallic materials.
  • Said container body 11 having a base 13 being supported by leg members 14. Corner leg members 15 being angular in shape and having upper extensions 16 provided thereat. Said container body 11 further having opposed side walls 17 and 18, a real wall 19 and a front wall 20, all having their lower portions hingedly attached to the upper extension 16 of the corner leg members 15 of the base 13 through pins 21. The portion 22 of the base supporting the opposed side walls 17 and 18 are elevated so that the pins 21a holding the opposed side walls 17 and 18 are disposed higher on the corner leg members 15 than the pins 21 b holding the front wall 20 and the rear wall 19.

  • Two adjacent walls may be fixedly secured to each other by rotating the clamp 29 so that its clamping end 31 is holding the ribbed edge of the adjacent wall.
  • This clamp 29 is slid down until the two adjacent walls are held securely and the handle 32 is rotated down and its hook member 33 clamped on the shorter side of the angular rod 27.
  • the container body 11 further having U-shaped handles 34 provided thereon for easy carrying thereof.
  • the liner L is made from plastic materials, preferably polyethylene, having an inlet portion I and an outlet portion provided with a nozzle N insertable on the opening 24 of the front wall 20.

Abstract

Cette invention porte sur un réceptacle (10) pliable comportant une doublure jetable pouvant contenir un fluide, ainsi que sur une doublure de réceptacle, lequel réceptacle pliable se présente sous une forme sensiblement rectangulaire à dessus ouvert et comporte un couvercle (12) correspondant monté amovible ainsi qu'une doublure placée à l'intérieur du réceptacle pliable. Ce réceptacle pliable comprend un corps (11) de réceptacle sensiblement rectangulaire à dessus ouvert pourvu d'un fond (13) reposant sur des pieds (14), d'une paroi avant (20), d'une paroi arrière (19) et de parois latérales (17, 18) opposées, ces parois étant fixées de manière articulée sur ce fond, et d'un élément (26) servant à fixer fermement lesdites parois avant, arrière et latérales opposées et le couvercle correspondant les uns aux autres, la paroi avant comportant une ouverture (24). Cette doublure, placée dans le corps de réceptacle, comporte un orifice d'entrée et un orifice de sortie muni d'un orifice d'évacuation pouvant être introduit dans l'ouverture de la paroi avant.
