Abstract

Eine Startvorrichtung (160) für eine Brennkraftmaschine hat einen Star­termotor (140) sowie eine Schaltsteuereinrichtung zum Ansteuern des Star­termotors (140). Letztere umfaßt einen Leistungsschaltbaustein (165, 170, 175, 180), der den Startermotor (140) mit einer Spannungsquelle (130) verbindet. Ferner weist die Schaltsteuereinrichtung eine Steuerelektronik (195) zur Ansteuerung des Leistungsschaltbausteins (165, 170, 175, 180) sowie eine Betätigungseinrichtung (135) zur Aktivierung der Steuerelektronik (195) auf. Die Steuerelektronik (195) ist derart ausgelegt, daß sie mit einer Versorgungsspannung betrieben werden kann, die geringer ist als 5 V. Dies stellt den sicheren Betrieb der Startvorrichtung auch bei im Zuge des Startvorgangs abfallender Versorgungsspannung sicher.
