Definitions
- the present invention relates to facial skin care equipment for keeping a facial skin healthy, and more particularly, to simplified facial skin care equipment which can supply a fatigued facial skin with oxygen and/or fragrance of plants which nourish the skin so that skin moisturization is maintained, wrinkles in the face are smoothed, and cell respiration is promoted, and thus, skin resistance can be enlianced and a healthy skin can be maintained
- fresh oxygen should be constantly supplied to a human being so that the human being can live.
- the supplied oxygen is exchanged with carbon dioxide in the lung, the oxygen entrained in blood is exchanged with waste products within tissues in peripheral capillaries and then discharged in the form of carbon dioxide.
- the oxygen is not supplied only through the lung, but the oxygen should be smoothly and sufficiently supplied through the skin to be perfectly and rapidly exchanged with harmful gas or waste products. Respiration through only one of the lungs and skin cannot maintain a human being's life. In this respect, the skin is a second lung and heart.
- Oxygen Mask Korean Laid- Open Utility Model Publication No. 93-19400
- Respiration Mask attached to Portable Oxygen Can Korean Laid-Open Utility Model Publication No. 95-504
- These masks are constructed to supply supplementary oxygen to a first-aid or cardiorepiratory patient's lung through the patient's nose or mouth.
- the masks are constructed to supply the oxygen to the lung through the nose and mouth, there are problems in that they are limited to cases of activating cardiorespiratory functions due to dyspnoea, overwork, breather and shock, and the oxygen required for skin respiration is not supplied, whereby rapid recovery cannot be achieved.
- An object of the present invention is to provide facial skin care equipment, by which skin resistance can be enlianced since cell respiration is promoted and a healthy skin can be maintained since skin moisturization is maintained and wrinkles in the face are smoothed, by simultaneously supplying a high concentration of fresh oxygen to a facial skin and lung through a hygienic and simplified mask.
- Another object of the present invention is to provide facial skin care equipment, by which functions of skin tissues can be further improved by connecting a container to a hose for supplying oxygen to a face and lung, putting the contents such as fruits, leaves, and/or roots of plants in the container, and supplying fragrance produced from the contents and the oxygen in a state where they are mixed with each other.
- facial skin care equipment for supplying oxygen contained in an oxygen cylinder 2 into a mask 1, which is positioned close to a face 61 of a user, through a hose 3 for connecting the mask 1 and the oxygen cylinder 2, wherein: an upper portion of the mask 1 is formed with a connection tube 11 which protrudes rearward therefrom to be connected to one end of the hose 3; a cover 4 is detachably coupled to a rear portion of the mask 1 and has a tightening means to be tightened after the cover wraps around the back 62 of the user' head; and a porous pulp sheet 5 is disposed on an inner surface of the mask 1 so that the oxygen introduced into the mask can be uniformly distributed and supplied to the entire facial skin ofthe user.
- a container 7 is interposed between the oxygen cylinder 2 and the hose 3 and allows the contents 8 including fruit, leaves, and/or roots of plants to be accommodated therein;
- a lower portion ofthe mask 1 is formed with a concave catching recess 13 to be in comfortable contact with a neck 64 ofthe user;
- a comb 10 to be put in the user's hair 63 is coupled to an upper center portion of the inner surface ofthe mask 1 ;
- the cover 4 has an elastic body 42 coupled thereto along a front periphery thereof to be fitted into and caught in the mask 1 ; and a string 41 is used as the tightening means.
- a nostril portion 12 is formed in the inner surface of the mask
- an opening/closing valve 6 is connected to the nostril portion of the mask so as to open and close a passage 15 of the nostril portion 12.
- FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of facial skin care equipment according to the present invention.
- FIGS. 2a and 2b are sectional views showing a use state of the facial skin care equipment according to the present invention.
- Facial skin care equipment comprises a mask 1, which is positioned close to a face 61 of a user, an oxygen cylinder 2 containing a high concentration of oxygen, and a hose 3 for connecting the mask and the oxygen cylinder, so that the oxygen contained in the oxygen cylinder 2 is supplied into the mask
- the mask 1 is injection molded out of synthetic resin, which is light in weight, for convenience of wearing it on the face and is made to cover the entire face and ear portions by duplicating the face 61 on an enlarged scale, and a lower portion of the mask is formed with a concave catching recess 13 to be in comfortable contact with a neck 64 of the user.
- An inner surface of the mask 1 is formed to be spaced apart from the face 61 by approximately 2 to 5 cm and to provide a flow space for the oxygen to be supplied.
- An upper portion of the mask 1 is formed with a connection tube 11 which is connected to the inner surface of the mask and protrudingly extends rearward therefrom to be connected to one end of the hose 3.
- a comb 10 which can be put in the user's hair 63 to wear the mask 1 on the face 61 is attached to an upper center portion of the inner surface of the mask with screws or the like.
- the coupling means for the comb 10 is not limited to screws, but super glue may be used or the mask 1 may be formed with a recess (not shown) for allowing the comb 10 to be fitted thereinto and coupled thereto.
- a cover 4 is coupled to a rear portion of the mask 1.
- the cover 4 is made of impermeable vinyl, synthetic textile or the like so that the back 62 ofthe user's head can be covered and the oxygen to be introduced is prevented from being discharged via the back 62 of the user's head to the outside, and comprises a string 41 which can tie a rear opening portion.
- the cover 4 is detachably coupled to the rear portion of the mask 1 in a state where an elastic body 42 of steel wire or band is wrapped in a front periphery of the cover 4.
- a groove 14 may be formed along the inner surface of the mask 1 so that the elastic body 42 is further safely fitted into and caught in the groove.
- a porous pulp sheet 5 which is disposed close thereto by about 10 mm or less so that the oxygen introduced into the mask can be supplied to the skin and lung by uniformly distributing the oxygen to be introduced.
- the cover 4 is coupled to the mask 1, the pulp sheet 5 is interposed and fitted between the cover 4 and the mask 1. Since the pulp sheet 5 can be exchanged with a new one, the pulp sheet may be exchanged after two or three-time use or every use in a business office.
- a nostril portion 12 of the mask 1 is provided with a thin opening/closing valve 6 for opening and closing a passage 15 of the nostril portion so that waste gas can be discharged to the outside after the introduced oxygen has been supplied to the skin and/or the lung. Since the periphery of the nostril portion 12 of the mask 1 for discharging the waste gas is shown in an open state in the figure, fresh oxygen may be discharged together with the waste gas upon discharge ofthe waste gas. However, since the amount of the discharged oxygen is very small, and a complex cutoff structure for preventing the discharge of oxygen is not necessarily needed. The amount of the discharged oxygen can be further decreased by bringing the waste gas discharge passage 15 ofthe mask 1 close to a position of nostrils ofthe user.
- an inlet and outlet of a container 7, which can allow the contents 8 such as fruit, leaves and/or roots of plants to be accommodated therein, are coupled to the oxygen cylinder 2 and the hose 3, respectively.
- fragrance produced from the contents and the oxygen can be supplied in a state where they are mixed with each other.
- the container 7 is separable so that the contents can be exchanged.
- a net 9 is installed at the outlet portion of the container so that the contents 8 cannot be introduced into the mask 1 along the hose 3.
- the oxygen transferred to the skin of the face 61 is infiltrated deeply into the facial skin through pores, so that the facial skin becomes clear and resilient through skin respiration in which the oxygen is inlialed and waste gas, i.e. carbon dioxide, is discharged.
- waste gas i.e. carbon dioxide
- the oxygen transferred to the lung is entrained in blood while being exchanged with carbon dioxide in the lung, is exchanged with waste products within tissues in peripheral capillaries, and is then discharged to the outside in the form of carbon dioxide.
- the waste gas discharged through the respiratory organs i.e. the user's nostrils and skin, is discharged to the outside through opening and closing operations of the opening/closing valve 6 in the passage 15 ofthe mask 1.
- the container 7 is coupled to the hose 3 for supplying the oxygen
- the contents 8 such as fruit, leaves, and/or roots of plants in the container 7 and then passing the oxygen through the container
- the supplied fragrance is permeated deeply into a meridian, a nervous system and a blood vessel to help blood circulation and energy communication.
- the functions of the facial skin are enhanced.
- the contents 8 producing the fragrance are preferably used by mixing angelicae gigantis radix, cnidii rhizoma, saussureae radix, menthae herba, olibanum, caryophylli flos, juniperi lignum, agastachis herba, angelicae tenuissimae radix, ocimum basilicum, borneolum and foeniculi fructus.
- the simplified facial skin care equipment of the present invention constructed as such supplies a fatigued facial skin with the oxygen and/or fragrance of the plants which are nourishing the skin so that skin moisturization is maintained, wrinkles in the face are smoothed (retardation of the aging), and cell respiration is promoted.
- skin resistance can be enlianced and a healthy skin can be maintained.
