Description

The invention relates to a device for removing and separating bags from stack carriers.
Bags in the sense of the invention are to be understood in particular as stand-up bags, but also, for example, simple bags or gusseted bags. Bags of this type are increasingly used as packaging in the food or non-food sector, both for liquid or at least partially liquid filling goods and for pourable filling goods. The device according to the invention for removing and separating bags from stack carriers is intended for use within devices and methods for filling bags which ensure high filling frequencies. Such a device and a corresponding method are described, for example, in the post-published patent application PCT / EP00 / 04541, which also goes back to the applicant.
Devices for filling bags which have been known for some time from the prior art operate in a clocked manner and accordingly, in contrast to continuously operating devices for filling glass or polyethylene bottles, for example, only offer low filling frequencies of about 20 to 30 bags per minute. In contrast, known devices for filling glass or polyethylene bottles, for example, are capable of realizing filling frequencies of 1000 and more containers per minute. Because these high filling frequencies have so far not been achieved when filling bags, the use of bags is currently essentially restricted to products which are not produced in very large numbers.
Because of the low filling frequencies currently achievable with the conventional devices for filling bags, the problem arises that systems which, besides filling and closing the bags and also making the bags, have hitherto hardly been used. This results from the fact that machines for the production of bags of high quality place very high demands on the mechanical equipment and therefore require investments that can usually only be economically justified if the bags are manufactured at a very high frequency. This currently leads to devices for filling bags generally being operated with bags prefabricated elsewhere, which are only filled and sealed in the known devices for filling bags which only guarantee low frequencies.
In order to ensure the above-mentioned high filling frequencies with a device for filling bags, it is necessary that the bags are delivered sufficiently quickly and reliably and are separated at the necessary speed and fed to the continuous pus processing process. This is it is known, for example from PCT / EPOO / 04541, that the flat bags are deposited from a magazine or from a system for producing the bags in stack carriers which are suitable for receiving a multiplicity of stacked, flat bags. These stack carriers are fed by a conveyor, preferably a single conveyor with the interposition of buffers, to a device for removing and separating bags from these stack carriers.
The removal of the bags from the stack carriers with a single bag for the device that has been removed has not proven to be sufficiently reliable and quick.
Based on the problem described above, the present invention is based on the object of providing a device for removing and separating bags from stack carriers, with the aid of which removal and separation is ensured with a high frequency and very high reliability.
According to the invention, the previously derived and described object is achieved by a device for removing and separating bags from stack carriers with at least one removal station removing the stack of bags from the stack carriers, at least one feeder station provided with a magazine, a pocket element and a belt conveyor, each pocket of the pocket element a feeder station is assigned, the belt conveyor is arranged between the feeder stations and the pocket element, the pocket element can be opened and the belt conveyor can be opened.
This device according to the invention for removing and separating bags from stack carriers ensures a very reliable separation of the bags with the aid of the feed stations through the opened belt conveyor into the pockets of the pocket element, whereupon the belt conveyor closes, the pocket element then opens and finally the bags captured by the belt conveyor be transferred from the area of the pocket element to subsequent belt conveyors.
The feeder stations are systems which are known from the prior art and have proven themselves to work reliably for separating and feeding flat products.
According to a first embodiment, the feeder stations are designed as friction feeders. In the case of a friction feeder, the bottom bag rests on a friction belt and is pulled out of the stack by the frictional force of the belt. A brake roller prevents the follow-up product from being taken along. Such a friction feeder works very reliably and is comparatively inexpensive as a standard system for separating and feeding flat products.
Finally, the device according to the invention for removing and separating bags from stack carriers has an advantageous embodiment in that the pocket element has a compartment element and a cover element having. Such a pocket element is easy to manufacture on the one hand and easy to open and close on the other.
In der Zeichnung zeigtThere are now a multitude of possibilities for designing and developing the device according to the invention for removing and separating bags from stack carriers. For this purpose, reference is made, for example, on the one hand to the claims subordinate to claim 1, and on the other hand to the description of a preferred exemplary embodiment in conjunction with the drawing. In the drawing shows

The exemplary embodiment of a device according to the invention for removing and separating bags 1 from stack carriers 2 shown in FIG. 1 has a removal station 4 which removes the stack of bags 3 from the stack carriers 2 and four (see FIG. 2) feed stations 6 provided with a magazine 5, only one of which in FIG. 1 is in supervision is shown. Furthermore, the embodiment of the device according to the invention has a pocket element 7 and a belt conveyor 8. The belt conveyor 8 is arranged between the feeder stations 6 and the pocket element 7. As indicated in FIG. 1 by arrows, both the pocket element 7 and the belt conveyor 8 can be opened.
The feed station shown schematically in FIG. 1, which is designed as a friction feeder, has a friction belt 9 on which the bottom bag rests and is pulled out of the bag stack 3 by the frictional force of the friction belt 9. A brake roller, not shown, prevents entrainment of the follow-up product. A bag 1 is transported from the friction belt 9 via guide belts 10 through the opened belt conveyor 8 into a pocket of the pocket element 7. The pocket element 7 is closed, so that the bag 1 transported into the pocket of the pocket element 7 initially remains there.
The removal station 4 has four gripping arms 19, of which only two are shown in the view, which can be moved relative to one another with the aid of an actuator 11, and with the aid of which the stack of bags 3 is gripped at the lower end and out of the stack carrier 2 can be removed above. The actuator 11 is then transported with closed gripper arms 19 to the magazine 5 of the feeder station 6, in which the stack of bags 3 is placed for further separation. The belt conveyor 8 has two counter-rotating toothed belts 12 which, in the open state, are at a distance which ensures the unhindered transport of a bag 1 by the belt conveyor 8 and, in the closed state, grip the bags 1 in the vicinity of the upper bag edge.
Aus der in Fig. 2 dargestellten seitlichen Ansicht ist ersichtlich, dass bei dem dargestelltenFrom the side view shown in Fig. 2 it can be seen that in the illustrated
Embodiment of a device according to the invention for removing and separating bags 1 from stack carriers 2, a total of 4 feeder stations 6 are provided and each of these feeder stations 6 is assigned a pocket 13 of the pocket element 7, which is indicated in FIG.
As already mentioned, this transport takes place through the opened belt conveyor 8. The transport through the feeder stations 6 is preferably carried out simultaneously. It can also be seen from FIG. 2 that between the transport belts 10 of the feeder stations 6 a further bag 1 has already been withdrawn from the magazine 5 (not shown in FIG. 2) in the waiting position for the subsequent loading of the pockets 13.
In the state shown in FIG. 2, the belt conveyor 8 now closes and non-positively grips the bags 1 located in the pockets 13 in the vicinity of their upper edge. This opens afterwards Pocket element 7, whereby the bags 1 are released from the pockets 13 and transported by the belt conveyor 8 out of the area of the pocket element 7 and transferred to a second belt conveyor 14 for further transport.
In the embodiment shown in the drawing, the pocket element 7 consists of a compartment element 15 which forms compartments 17 via subdivisions 16 and end elements which, in cooperation with a cover element 18, form the pockets 13 in the closed state. As soon as the belt conveyor 8 has closed after loading the bags 13 with bags 1, the bag element 7 opens via actuators (not shown) by preferably moving the compartment element 15 and the cover element 18 apart on both sides transversely to the transport direction of the bags 1.
