Abstract

The invention concerns an adapted component moulded to a bowl or like containers during manufacture for locking a spoon (soup spoon, coffee spoon, plastic stick) and for facilitating transfer of liquids. The container (1) has on its periphery an opening (3) revealing a spout (4), which when it is opened is enlarged by two bevelled projections (9) thereby forming, with the container inner wall, two edges (10) for maintaining the spoon in the spout (4) when the container is inclined. Since it is also curved, said spout facilitates transfer of liquids. The adapted component can be moulded on various types of containers (bowls, cups, tumblers, plastic mugs) and its size and shape can vary depending on the design.

The present invention relates to a molded adaptation for wedging a spoon (soup, coffee or plastic stick) in a bowl or other similar containers.
This normally slides along the interior wall and annoys the user when he tilts the container for drinking.
Indeed, part of the liquids, during decanting, flows along the outer wall and spills next to the other container
The adaptation according to the invention overcomes these two drawbacks. According to a first characteristic, it constitutes the addition of a spout facilitating transfers.
This spout by its original shape allows to collect the spoon and wedge it, the user is therefore no longer embarrassed when swallowing the liquid.
Selon des modes particuliers de réalisation :According to particular embodiments:
- La taille et la forme du bec peuvent varier.- The size and shape of the beak may vary.
This spout is molded during its manufacture on different types of containers (of various materials and of different sizes): Bowl; Mug; Cup ; Glass; Plastic cup. - A simple opening on the wall of the container can be made allowing only to wedge a spoon.
The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: A bowl provided with this adaptation was taken as support for these illustrations: non-limiting, cf. (line 23).
- La figure 1 représente un bol en coupe.- Figure 1 shows a bowl in section.
- La figure 2 représente le bol vu de face.- Figure 2 shows the bowl seen from the front.
- La figure 3 représente le bol vu du dessus.- Figure 3 shows the bowl seen from above.
- Figure 5 shows a variant of the adaptation which will have only the setting of the spoon. With reference to these drawings, the bowl is of circular ton (1), of variable diameter and depth (2). On the circumference of the bowl. a 1.8 cm wide opening (3) at the top of the bowl, 1 cm at the bottom of the opening (7) and 3 cm high reveals a beak (4) which at its top is deep - measurement made between the opening (3) and the tip of the spout (5) - 1.7 cm (6), to join the bowl 3 cm (7) from the upper edge of it.
This beak which at its opening measures 1.8 cm wide widens up to 2.5 cm (8) after a biased projection (9) on either side of the opening of the beak, 0.5 cm and at an angle 45 degrees.
Two vertical edges (10), inclined, or even arcuate thus form the opening of the spout from the inside of the bowl. These edges (10) allow the spoon to be held in the spout (4) when the bowl is tilted. It projects (the beak) laterally from the upper edge of the bowl by 1.8 cm in total.
All these measures are taken inside the bowl and may vary depending on the container.
Referring to Figure 5 a simple opening (11) by cutting at the top of the container forming two vertical edges (10), inclined or arcuate allows to wedge the spoon.
