Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Kühleinrichtung für Schachtöfen, wie Hochöfen, oder dgl., aus einem hochwärmeleitfähigen Material, vorzugsweise Kupfer oder Kupferlegierungen, mit einem Kühlmittelkanäle aufweisenden, als Hohlkörper ausgebildeten Kühlelement (1), welches eine im Vertikalschnitt zum Ofeninnenraum vorgewölbte, z.B. im wesentlichen dreieckförmig zum Ofeninnenraum weisende Grundform hat, an wenigstens einer der feuerfesten Innenauskleidung (4', 8') des Ofens zugewandten Fläche einen treppenförmige, sägezahnähnliche oder dgl. Strukturierte Oberflächenkontur (4, 8) aufweist und zum Schutz eines Kühlrings (3) der Blassformebene angeordnet ist, sowie Schachtöfen mit derartigen Kühleinrichtungen.
