Abstract
Self-powered outdoor public advertising board comprised of illuminated clear panels enclosed in a rigid frame available as a bench, planter or any other structure suiting the surrounding urban environment. The lighting is supplied by a variable number of rechargeable batteries running on electricity, solar power or a fuel burning engine, requiring no external power source.
Description
SELF -POWERED OUTDOOR PUBBLIC ADVERTISING
DESCRIPTION.
Actually -it is a fact- the technology prescribes that the bright panels used for publicity and placed in public places should be fed by a connection, even if temporary, with the network at 220 Volts.
The device will be made of an anodised alurnir urn frame and both the bases, respectively the front and the back, will be able to function as urban benches or flower-pot holders depending on the requirements. The two opposite transparent surfaces (see the design) are made of Plexiglas (thickness: 4 mm.; measures 140 cm. x 100 cm.).
The metal base will be able to be opened sideways to let the positioning of the feeding accumulators which, according to the season and to the necessity, will be in a variable number, from 6 to 8, connected two by two, in series, to obtain a feeding voltage rating of 25 Volts, with a maximum power of 500 / 700 Ah.
An electronic feeder will be able to: raise the voltage taken from the feeding accumulators light the lamps up using a shock flashover maintain the lighting through an oscillating circuit at high frequency An automatic switch will maintain the system in action following a timetable or by photoelectric cells that will start up the system according to the intensity of the daylight.
There will be fluorescent lamps in a variable number, from 6 to 7, according to the necessity (measures: 120 cm x 2.8 cm. of power: 36 Watts) and they will be placed horizontally behind the transparent panels.
Each lamp needs its monitoring and oscillating electronic feeder (measures: 18 cm. x 3 cm. x 4cm.).
The endurance of the luminosity will be between 30 and 50 hours uninterruptedly.
The system, which is totally independent feed and self-feed has the purpose to elύninate the necessity of any connections with an external source of feeding.
The detection - an advertising system and/or plant with independent feed and self-feed could be carried out in other ways, in addition to that described above, in according to any artistic, scientific and technical developments. The protection is required for these classes: 9 - 17 - 35 - 37.
Claims
1. The detection, wich is totally feed and self - feed, has the purpose to eliminate the necessity of any connections with an external source of feeding.
2. The detection is easy to install and allows to move -without difficulties - the devices under discussion (advertising transparent panels placed in public places). It eliminates all the aclministrative fulfilments involved in the connection with an external electric network (technical project must be submitted to the city authorities; running tests must be carried out - on the spot - by a staff of engineers and firemen and permissions must be required to E.N.E.L. etc).
3. The detection is not polluting at all.
The detection - an advertising system and/or plant with independent feed and self -feed could be carried out in other ways, in addition to that described above, in according to any artistic, scientific and technical developments.
The protection is required for these classes: 9 - 17 - 35 - 37.
