After accessing the virtual hard disk system 50, the user inputs an ID and a password. The ID and password are transmitted to the virtual hard disk system 50 and the client system 10 stands by ready to receive the data from the virtual hard disk system 50. The virtual hard disk system 50 standing by ready to receive the data from the client system 10 through the network receives the member ID and password from the client system 10, and identifies the ID and password if they are correct.
  • the virtual hard disk system 50 identifies if there is the virtual hard disk 53 assigned to the ID input by the user. Generally, when the user registers as a member, the virtual hard disk system 50 assigns the virtual hard disk 53 to the user. However, if it is determined that there is no virtual hard disk 53 due to a system error, the virtual hard disk 53 is assigned to the user. When the forming of the virtual hard disk 53 fails, a message such as "Failure to form Virtual Hard Disk" is transmitted to the client system 10. Next, it is determined if the virtual hard disk 53 assigned to the ID is shared. When the virtual hard disk 53 is shared, a success message is transmitted to the client system 10, and the user is approved to use the virtual hard disk 53. When the virtual hard disk 53 is not shared, a fail message is transmitted to the client system 10.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'opérations de commerce électronique pour des produits de données numériques à l'aide d'Internet et d'un système de disque dur. Selon ce procédé, un bon de commande destinés à des produits de données numériques est d'abord entré depuis un ordinateur client dans une galerie marchande Internet, puis le bon de commande est transmis à un système serveur de produits associé à la galerie marchande Internet. Ensuite, un produit de données numériques correspondant au bon de commande est transmis depuis le système serveur de produits à un système de disque dur virtuel, de sorte que l'utilisateur puisse utiliser le produit de données numériques après enregistrement chronologique des données dans le système de disque dur virtuel au moyen de l'ordinateur client.
