Abstract
The present utility model patent refers to a TUBULAR CANOPY FOR PICKUPS made up with apparent tubes (01) which form its main structure; such tubes can be made with steel, aluminium, plastic and/or similar materials or all of these materials blended together in several curved or straight shapes, and they can be painted, nickel or chrome plated or similars, and with sizes depending on the vehicle in which it will be used. The canopy is removable and/or fixed for small, medium, and large pickups of any model and brand. The vacuums (02) formed by the tubes on the sides, front, rear and upper part are complemented with curved or flat glass fixed or in the form of windows and or doors, or even other kinds of stiff materials like steel, fiber glass and the likes or flexible materials like canvas, vinyl or similars, such materials can also be blended together.
Description
TUBULAR CANOPY FOR PICKUPS
The present utility model patent refers to a TUBULAR CANOPY FOR PICKUPS made up with apparent tubes which form its main sructure, such tubes can be made with steel, aluminium, plastic and or similar materials, or all of these materials blended together in several shapes and sizes depending on the vehicle in which it will be used.
The TUBULAR CANOPY FOR PICKUPS is removable and or fixed for small, medium and large size pickup trucks of any brand.
The TUBULAR CANOPY FOR PICKUPS structure is formed with tubes which give it its external shape.
The tubes can have several shapes, sizes , materials and they can be painted, nickle plated, chrome plated or similars. The tubes can either have a curved or straight shape and are joined together with a soldering system, rivets, screws or similars.
The vacuums formed by the tubes on the sides, front, rear and upper part are complemented with curved or flat glass fixed or in the form of windows and or doors, or even other kinds of stiff materials like steel, aluminium, plastic, fiberglass and the likes or flexible materials like canvas, vinyl or similars, such materials can also be blended.
In the drawings that follow and are part of this report we have: Fig 1. A view in perspective of the TUBULAR
CANOPY FOR PICKUPS, where the tubes that form the structure and the external shape viewing the sides, upper part and the front are shown.
Fig 2. A view in perspective where the glass and or windows put between the tubes at the sides, upper part and rear part appear and one can see the accessing door of the TUBULAR CANOPY FOR PICKUPS.
As inset in the drawings, the TUBULAR
CANOPY FOR PICKUPS is made with steel, aluminium, plastic and or similar tubes of several shapes and sizes depending on the vehicle chosen to use it, also, all of these materials can be blended to make the canopy.
The TUBULAR CANOPY FOR PICKUPS structure is formed with tubes (01) the vacuums (02)formed by the
tubes on the sides, rear, front and upper part are fitted with curved or flat glass and or windows or doors, and stiff materials like aluminium and or similar or flexible materials like, vinyl, canvas, or similars, can be used. These complements are fitted in the vacuum formed by the tubes with rubbers or they can be soldered, riveted, or screwed to the sructure .
The ceiling put on the upper part of the sructure, can be of steel, aluminium, plastic and similar materials and or of flexible materials like canvas, vinyl, and the likes.
The ceiling is cut on the desired size and fitted to the structure with properly profiled rubber, soldered, riveted and or put in the brackets of the tubular upper part. The ceiling can also be thermally insulated.
The fitting on the pickus is done through fast closing clamps or with screws.
