Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren und ein Kommunikationssystem zum Bereitstellen geographischer Angaben beim Abruf von Informationen aus einem paketorientierten Kommunikationssystem. Dabei sollen von einer Datenendeinrichtung (1), z.B. einer WAP-fähigen Mobilstation, über eine Funk-Kommunikationsverbindung (V) von einem Netz-Server mittels einer Informationsanforderung (2) Informationen angefordert werden können, die einen geographischen Ortsbezug haben. Zum einfachen und anonymen Bereitstellen geographischer Angaben beim Abruf von Informationen wird vorgeschlagen, die Informationsanforderung über einen zwischengeschalteten Proxy-Server (5) zu leiten, der die Informationsanforderung (2) um eine geographische Information (7) ergänzt.
