Abstract

La présente invention concerne un ski de fond permettant de skier en particulier sur de la glace, et sur une surface recouverte de glace. Le ski de l'invention comprend une combinaison d'un corps de ski (1) ayant une tension appropriée, en tant que surface portante, présentant une surface supérieure (2) dotée d'une fixation de ski (10) et une surface inférieure (3), un paire de lames (4) analogues à celles du patinage de vitesse, étant reliées sous forme d'un ensemble de couplage avant et arrière dans la direction longitudinale. La distance entre les lames faisant partie d'un même paire peut être égale à la largeur du corps de ski, et, entre les lames d'une même paire sont connectés des corps plats (11) ayant une base de glissement qui présente une distance par rapport aux bords des lames amovibles. La base de glissement est conçue pour agir comme un ski sur la neige lorsque la qualité de la glace est mauvaise et par temps de neige. Les deux ensembles de couplage permettent un mouvement autour d'un axe horizontal, mais pas plus, ou un mouvement quelconque autour d'un axe vertical. Selon l'invention, la flexibilité du corps de ski sert à la fois à absorber les chocs et à amplifier les mouvements de jambe. Différents modes de réalisation de l'invention lui permettent de s'adapter aux deux techniques de ski et le ski peut être doté d'un système de freinage comprenant un frein à main (8) relié à un bloc de freinage (7). Le ski de l'invention donne naissance à une nouvelle activité de sports d'hiver permettant en particulier de skier sur des surfaces recouvertes de glace. Le ski de l'invention permet d'atteindre des vitesses élevées sur de la glace dure et peut être utilisé sur des lacs gelés et sur des pistes de ski verglacées. Les skis de l'invention peuvent en général être utilisés de la même façon que le sont les skis de fond ordinaires sur la neige.
