Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a system for processing used oil. Said system can be operated in an especially energy-efficient manner if the heat of the flame and flue gas is used for the targeted heating of the used oil situated in the distillation chamber (2) surrounding the combustion chamber (3). Thanks to the special structure of the walls (15) on the sides of the combustion chamber (3) and the blades (31, 32) arranged on the outer face (30) of the wall (15) the heat is removed from the flue gas in a targeted manner and transmitted to the used oil, thus improving and accelerating the distillation process. By means of the above method recycled diesel and other oil fractions having a multitude of possible uses can be produced from used oil.
