Abstract

Un protector de compartimiento de equipaje del tipo modular, que puede ser utilizado indistintamente en autobuses foráneos y de personal, formado por un marco de forma rectangular, con un refuerzo central, colocado en el compartimiento de equipaje para impedir o prevenir que el equipaje golpee contra la puerta del compartimiento de equipaje o a la estructura de la carrocería, produciendo deformaciones que dañen tanto a el equipaje como al vehículo. El protector se asegura por medio de una cerradura, la cual, al liberarlo permitirá que el protector de compartimento de equipaje se abata hacia el exterior del vehículo en un ángulo de 180 grados, conteniendo por lo menos dos topes montados sobre las bisagras, los cuales hacen contacto con la carrocería, evitando que el marco del protector de compartimiento de equipaje golpee con la estructura y dañen al vehículo.
