Dabei kann das Maß des Abstands A zwischen den Arretierstiften und den Anlagekanten so bemessen werden, daß die Falznähte dazwischen eingeklemmt werden. Besonders vorteilhaft ist es, wenn die Zundkerzenstecker aus dem Rundkörper hervortretende Konstruktionsteile aufweisen, was bei den meisten Zündkerzensteckern mit Falznähten der Fall ist.
