An das Förderrohr der Exzenterschneckenpumpe 20 schließt sich ein beheizbarer Schlauch 23 an, in dem die plastische Masse bei Verarbeitungstemperatur aus dem hier nicht dargestellten Gehäuse der Vorrichtung 1 zu der Auftragsstelle auf dem Modell M gefördert wird. Wird die Vorrichtung 1 abgestellt oder schaltet diese ab, ist eine längere Aufheizphase nötig, bevor der Fördervorgang wieder aufgenommen wird. Hierbei ist es vorteilhaft, die Vorrichtung teilweise zusätzlich durch ein Gebläse aufzuheizen, wobei das Gebläse auch einen Kühlmodus haben sollte, um zu hohe Temperaturwerte abzufangen.
