Description

MULTIFUNCTIONAL CURTAIN SUSPENSION DEVICE
The subject of the invention is a multifunctional curtain cornice that can be fixed to flat or angled ceilings and to walls .
All known and manufactured curtain cornices are constructed in such a way that they can be fixed only to ceilings or only to walls. This is due to the fact that the constructions used until now have not had any common elements that would allow ceiling cornices to be fixed to walls or vice versa.
Fixing ceiling cornices to angled ceilings does not ensure smooth movement of gliders along the track. It is due to the fact that smooth movement of gliders along the tracks takes place only when gliders are in plumb position. In the curtain cornice constructions used until now it is impossible to obtain such position of gliders, because fixing them to angled ceilings results in their rubbing against sides of tracks .
The essence of the solution introduced by the invention is connected with the fact that a curtain cornice has a module track, adapters, sectional holders and brackets. On the axis of its symmetry the module track has pockets with stops to fix a sectional track holder and adapters as well as pockets without stops to fix adapters only. The module track has also got oblong and round holes. Adapters have holes for fixing them onto the supporting tube and holes for sleeves limiting position of adapters in relation to supporting tubes. There are sectional tube holders fixed in pockets with stops. The bracket, that is fixed to a wall, has a reducer sleeve and a tube supporting adapters and the module track. A curtain cornice fixed to an angled ceiling has shackles supporting self-plumbing units hanging on rotating rollers. A self-plumbing unit consists of an adapter with a stop, whereas the adapter is coupled with one of the modules selected from the module track. There is a sectional track holder attached to the isolated module.
The advantage of the cornice constructed according to the invented method is complete exchangeability of all elements that allows fixing it to a flat or angled ceiling or to a wall in any configuration of tracks.
The invention will now be described by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings in which:
Fig. 1 shows the A-A plane section of the triple module track with two tracks and one adapter as well as a part section and a view of a bracket fixed to a wall;
Fig. 2 shows the K view of the module track, disregarding the bracket;
Fig. 3 shows transverse B-B plane section of the module track;
Fig. 4 shows transverse C-C plane section of the module track;
Fig. 5 shows the K view of the unarmed module track;
Fig. 6 shows a module isolated from the module track;
Fig. 7 shows a transverse view of a cornice fixed to an angled ceiling
Fig. 8 shows the view of a cornice fixed to an angled ceiling; and
Fig. 9 shows a side view of the module track with three sectional holders and tracks.
According to the invention, a cornice consists of a module track 1 which has pockets 2 with stops 2. and pockets A. without stops situated along its axis of symmetry 5.. Pockets 2 and pockets A are used for fixing the module track to the ceiling, in case of hitting a reinforcement rod the round ϋ or the oblong 7. holes are used for fixing the track.
When fixing a cornice to a wall or to an angled ceiling, adapters 8., secured by stops 9., are mounted in pockets 2. and A. The module track 1 has sectional holders 1H for tracks 11 mounted only in pockets 2.
Bracket 12. is used for fixing a cornice to a wall 13. and consists of a reduction sleeve 14. and a tube 15. inserted into the hole 16. in the adapter 8.. The tube 15. can be cut down depending on the required range of the bracket radius. Sleeves 11 embedded in holes 18. and screws 19. are used for stopping the adapter fL in definite positions on the tube 15.
To fix a cornice to an angled ceiling, there is a shackle 20. with a threaded shaft and a rotationally fixed self-plumbing set consisting of an adapter _ with a stop ϋ.
Adapter 8. is coupled with the module 22, isolated from the module track 1, housing a sectional holder 10. of the track 11.
Fixing a cornice to a flat ceiling involves inserting a necessary number of washers 22. into pockets 2. and A in the module track 1 and fixing them to a ceiling with screws and inserting sectional holders ID. and tracks 11 into pockets 2.
A standard track 1 is made of three modules that allow mounting three tracks 11. It is possible to make cornices with any number of tracks 11 by adding or removing modules.
When cutting the module track 1, into e.g. three individual modules 22., the elements containing pockets A become obsolete.
