Abstract

L'invention concerne une machine à sous (20) de type à rouleaux, qui comporte un circuit de commande de jeu à microprocesseur en vue d'une sélection aléatoire d'un résultat de jeu. Trois ensembles rouleaux (26-28) comportent chacun un rouleau portant des symboles entraîné par un moteur (4) pas-à-pas, servant à afficher des symboles de jeu correspondant au résultat du jeu. Une série de signaux représentant des résultats de jeu potentiels est produite de manière répétée dans les circuits de commande de jeu. Lorsqu'un utilisateur actionne un commutateur de rotation (35), l'un des résultats de jeu est sélectionné de façon aléatoire en vue d'une application de celui-ci à un tableau de visualisation dans lequel on peut identifier les trois symboles de jeu correspondants. Le nombre de répétitions d'un résultat de jeu potentiel dans la série permet de déterminer une fenêtre de temps de disponibilité du résultat, et par conséquent la probabilité que ce résultat de jeu a d'être sélectionné. Après que les trois symboles de jeu ont été identifiés, les rouleaux d'affichage sont entraînés par leur moteur pas-à-pas respectif pour afficher les symboles de jeu.
