Description

CHAUSSURE A ROULETTES RETRACTABLES VERS UNE SHOE WITH CASTERS RETRACTABLE TOWARDS A
The present invention relates to a shoe with retractable wheels from a lowered position of use to a raised position of non-use.
Several different shoes of this kind are known, inter alia the applicants prior patent application WO95 / 20424.
This document describes several embodiments of a shoe with wheels comprising front wheels and rear wheels movable between a position of contact with the ground and a raised position outside contact with the ground. The front and rear rollers are connected together by a flexible link passing inside the sole so as to simultaneously move the front and rear rollers using traction means connected to the flexible link. The shoe according to this document constitutes an important simplification compared to other older devices which require very complex lever systems.
However, the casters mounted according to WO95 / 20424 have a relatively large wheelbase which is inconvenient when walking with the shoes after lifting the casters. This wheelbase also increases the size of the mechanisms inside the sole. Furthermore, the front casters are located, when they are retracted, in the front part of the sole, which impairs the flexibility thereof. Access to the interior of the sole of the shoe according to W095 / 20424 is relatively difficult in the variant in which guided axles are used in sliding corridors passing through the sole, which makes cleaning inside of the sole is not easy. Furthermore, it is also impossible to access it to replace the parts inside the sole.
The object of the invention is to propose a shoe with wheels overcoming the drawbacks mentioned above. The mechanism inside the shoe according to the invention is also very easy to manufacture and assemble, which means that the cost price of the shoe can be significantly reduced.
The subject of the invention is a shoe with wheels, of the type comprising front wheels and rear wheels, the front and rear wheels being movable between a first lowered position of use and a second raised position of non-use, the front wheels being connected to the rear rollers by at least one flexible link passing inside the sole so as to move the front and rear rollers simultaneously using traction means connected to said flexible link, characterized in that the rollers front are further connected to the rear rollers by elastic means urging them towards each other towards the raised position of non-use.
Selon d'autres caractéristiques de l'invention: les moyens de traction comportent un lien flexible de traction relié audit lien flexible et ayant une extrémité s'étendant hors de la semelle, ledit lien flexible de traction étant apte à, lors d'une traction, déplacer les roulettes avant et les roulettes arrière, à l'encontre de l'action des moyens élastiques, vers la position abaissée d'utilisat on;According to other characteristics of the invention: the traction means comprise a flexible traction link connected to said flexible link and having one end extending out of the sole, said flexible traction link being able to, during a traction , move the front and rear rollers, against the action of the elastic means, to the lowered position of use;
- les moyens de t action comportent un levier relié à ladite extrémité du lien flexible de traction, ledit levier étant articulé à la partie arrière de la chaussure; - le levier peut être rabattu vers le bas ou vers le haut contre la chaussure de manière à constituer, sous l'effet de l'action des moyens élastiques, des moyens de blocage du lien flexible de traction dans la position relevée de non-utilisation respectivement dans la position abaissée d'utilisation des roulettes; - les moyens élastiques sont constitués par un ressort de traction; les roulettes arrière sont portées par un essieu arrière et les roulettes avant par un essieu avant relié à l'essieu arrière par les moyens élastiques et par ledit lien flexible; la semelle comporte une cavité centrale longitudinale de réception des moyens élastiques et dudit lien flexible;- The action means comprise a lever connected to said end of the flexible traction link, said lever being articulated to the rear part of the shoe; - the lever can be folded down or up against the shoe so as to constitute, under the effect of the action of the elastic means, of the means for blocking the flexible traction link in the raised position of non-use respectively in the lowered position of use of the rollers; - The elastic means consist of a tension spring; the rear rollers are carried by a rear axle and the front rollers by a front axle connected to the rear axle by elastic means and by said flexible link; the sole includes a longitudinal central cavity for receiving the elastic means and said flexible link;

En référence aux figures 1 et 2, une chaussure à roulettes selon l'invention comporte une partie supérieureFigure 3 is a bottom view of the shoe of Figure 2; - Figure 4 is an exploded perspective view of a sole of a shoe according to the invention. Referring to Figures 1 and 2, a shoe on wheels according to the invention has an upper part
1 destinée à recevoir le pied de l'utilisateur et une semelle 2 adaptée à la partie supérieure 1 et solidaire de cel 1 e-ci .1 intended to receive the foot of the user and a sole 2 adapted to the upper part 1 and integral with cel 1 here.
Two front rollers 3a and 3b and two rear rollers 4a and 4b are movable between a first lowered position of use in contact with the ground, as illustrated in FIG. 1, and a second raised position of non-use, as illustrated in Figure 2.
In the embodiment illustrated in the figures, the front rollers 3a, 3b are carried by a front axle 5, while the rear rollers 4a, 4b are carried by a rear axle 6. The rollers 3a, 3b and 4a, 4b are freely rotatably mounted at the ends of the axles, preferably by means of ball bearings. The rollers 3a, 3b and 4a, 4b are located outside the sole 2 and the front and rear axles 5, 6 are trapped in slots made in the sole. The lower parts 7, 8 of such slots are shown in the exploded view of FIG. 4. They are made in a lower half-sole 9, while the upper parts of the slots are formed in an upper half-sole 10 which comes close on the bottom sole when assembling the shoe. The two half-soles are preferably fixed to each other by simple bonding.
Elles constituent de préférence des conformations de guidage des ess i eux 5 , 6.These slots have shapes allowing the axles to move between the position of use and the position of non-use of the rollers. They preferably constitute guiding conformations of the ess i them 5, 6.
Les blocs de guidage sont de préférence en un matériau synthétique semi-rigide, léger et résistant à 1 'usure .According to the embodiment illustrated in Figure 4, these guide conformat ons are performed in two inserts and integrated in the sole 2. These parts constitute front and rear guide blocks 11, 12 of the front and rear axles 5, 6. Each guide block 11, 12 has a slot 13 respectively 14 constituting a guide for the corresponding axle 5, 6 which is trapped there. In this embodiment, the slots 7, 8 made in the sole constitute auxiliary guides which are arranged opposite the guide slots 13, 14 so as to constitute extensions thereof. The guide blocks are preferably made of a semi-rigid synthetic material, light and resistant to wear.
Each guide slot 13, 14 of the guide blocks 11, 12, as well as each corresponding auxiliary guide slot 7, 8 of the sole 2, has a ramp shape which in the front guide block 11 rises in the direction of the rear with a first horizontal part and a second inclined part, while in the rear guide block 12, the ramp goes up towards the front, also with a first horizontal part and a second inclined part: the corresponding movement of the axles is thus imposed by the guide slots to follow a trajectory similar to the profile of a slide.
For the simultaneous movement of all the rollers 3A, 3b, 4a, 4b from the non-use position to the use position, the front rollers 3a, 3b are connected to the rear rollers 4a, 4b by a flexible link 15 passing inside the sole 2 and which in the illustrated embodiment is fixed to the axle respect if 5, 6.
The flexible link 15 is connected to traction means comprising a flexible traction link 16 of which one of the ends is fixed to the flexible link 15 and the other end 16a extends out of the sole 2 passing through a corridor 17 at the rear of the sole 2, this corridor 2 being of low height and of width adapted to the width of the flexible traction link. Figure 4 shows pa elsewhere the bottom wall 17a of this corridor. As flexible link 15, 16, mention may be made of straps, belts, reinforced fabrics, chains, cables or braids.
According to the invention, the front rollers 3a, 3b are also connected to the rear rollers 4a, 4b by elastic means 18 urging the rear rollers towards the front rollers in the direction of the raised position of non-use i 1 i sation.
Le ressort 18 ainsi que les liens flexibles 15,In the illustrated embodiment, the elastic means consist of a tension spring, one end of which is fixed to the front axle 5 and the other to the rear axle 6. These elastic means can alternatively be constituted by a simple rubber band or any similar means. The spring 18 and the flexible links 15,
16 sont reçus dans une cavité centrale longitudinale 19 de 1 a se el le 2.16 are received in a longitudinal central cavity 19 from 1 to 1 and 2.
Grâce au ressort 18, les roulettes 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b sont automatiquement sollicitées vers la position relevée de non-utilisation montrée à la figure 2.Thanks to the spring 18, the rollers 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b are automatically biased towards the raised position of non-use shown in FIG. 2.
L'extrémité 16a est dans ce but avantageusement fixée à un levier 20 articulé a la partie arrière de la chaussure à un endroit 21.From this position, the rollers 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b can be moved to the lowered position of use by a traction exerted on the flexible traction link 16. The end 16a is for this purpose advantageously fixed to a lever 20 articulated on the rear part of the shoe at a location 21.
A.This lever 20 has the shape of an A, the ends of the branches of which are fixed to the articulation 21, while the end 16a of the flexible traction link 16 is fixed to the bar of the A.
The lever 20 can be folded down or up against the wall of the shoe and it will remain thanks to the action of the spring glued against the wall so as to thus constitute means for blocking the flexible link in the raised positions and lowered redness. From the raised position of non-use illustrated in FIG. 2, it is thus easy to move the rollers 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b to the lowered position of use by tilting the lever 20 upwards, which has for effect that a traction force is exerted on the traction link 16 and transmitted to the flexible link 15 which then pulls the front and rear axles 5, 6 downwardly separating them against the action of the spring 18. So that the traction force exerted by the traction means on the front axle 5 is directed towards the front to separate the axles, the front guide block is at its front end provided with a transverse return axis 22 of the link flexible 15. The rear guide block can also at its rear end be provided with such a deflection pin 22 for the flexible traction link 16. The two guide blocks can advantageously be identical to reduce manufacturing costs and to facilitate the ech angels if need be.
Access to the interior of the sole, and more specifically access to the central cavity 19 with the spring 18 and the flexible links 15, 16, is facilitated by the presence of a cover disposed below the sole. , opposite the central cavity 19. Figure 3 illustrates the sole without the cover to show accessibility inside the sole. The cover can be fixed to the guide blocks 11, 12 by screwing.
In the embodiment described with reference to the figures, the sole 2 has a thickness comparable to the thicknesses of the soles of sports shoes of known type and can have great flexibility. Folding the sole during walking is further facilitated by the fact that the front axle is in the raised position moved towards the center of the sole of the foot. Many variants are possible and it goes without saying that the invention is not limited to the embodiment described here in detail.
One can also envisage other variants in which the rollers are carried by front and rear plates, themselves slidably mounted in guides and connected to one another by the elastic means according to the invention.
