Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte à un boîtier pour connecteur électrique, comprenant au moins un passage destiné à recevoir un contact électrique, ainsi qu'une première partie de logement arrière (2) et une seconde partie de logement avant (3) qui peut être raccordée à la première partie de logement arrière (2). Un curseur de verrouillage (4) est disposé entre les parties de logement avant et arrière (2, 3) et il peut occuper une position de verrouillage préliminaire et une position de verrouillage finale, entre lesquelles il est mobile par déplacement perpendiculaire à la direction d'enfichage. Le contact électrique peut être introduit dans le passage (1) dans la position de verrouillage préliminaire du curseur et il peut être verrouillé dans le passage (1) dans la position de verrouillage final du curseur. Le curseur de verrouillage (4) comporte deux branches (5, 6) situées à l'opposé l'une de l'autre et présentant une languette de verrouillage (7, 8), laquelle coopère avec un moyen de verrouillage complémentaire (9, 10) situé sur l'une des parties (2) du logement. Le curseur de verrouillage (4) comporte un premier épaulement (11) servant à permettre son déplacement de la position de verrouillage préliminaire à la position de verrouillage final, et un second épaulement (12) situé sur une étrier (13) et qui relie les branches (5, 6) à proximité de leurs extrémités libres, de telle sorte que la pression s'exerçant sur le second épaulement (12) entraîne un déverrouillage des branches (5, 6) et déplace le curseur de verrouillage de la position de verrouillage final à la position de verrouillage préliminaire.
