Abstract

In a nurser-dispenser (bottle) to feed a baby, the design has been historically known to permit only the convenience of feeding the young child. While at the same time, in order to administer medicine or vitamins to the child, the parent or nurse has to resort to a separate dispensing instrument in order to administer the same. In this invention, the nurser-dispenser has been designed so as to enable both functions, together or separate, as may be desired.

Description

NURSER & MEDICINE DISPENSER
DESCRIPTION
" This invention relates to the convenience and comfort of administering medicine and vitamins to a baby or child when being fed, while taking advantage of the feeding comfort level, as well as to disabled beings and zoo animals ".
" It is common that when medicine or vitamin is to be administered to a baby or child, a
separate instrument, such as a syringe, nipple or baby spoon is used to do so. It is of
course necessary to entice the baby or child to open it's mouth in order to complete such
task. This; being grand father to five grand children, I have found to be discomforting, inconvenient and even painful at times, when the child is not willing to accept the medicine or vitamins. This inconvenience I have found to be mainly caused when the child is being served such medicine or vitamins while being separated from it's beloved
feeding bottle ".
" I have found that these inconveniences could be overcome and harmonized by administering to the baby, or child, the medicine or vitamins from the same nurser dispenser and at the same time, or immediately after, as the baby is being fed; this, without halting the feeding comfort to the child from his/her nurser dispenser. I . also believe that this invention could bring more convenience and comfort when administering some medicine to disabled peoples as well as to some elderlies and zoo animals ".
" In these drawings which illustrate embodiments of the invention, Figure No: 1 is a side elevation showing the invented addition to the server dispenser ". " Figure No: 2 is a side elevation of an improved regular baby medicine (syringe) dispenser ". " Figure NO: 3
is a side elevation which incorporates figures 1 and 2 thereby demonstrates the
complete invention as formed within the general perimeters of this invention.
" The illustrated prototype in drawing No: 1 illustrates the inventions in detail in figures 1 and 2 and marked (a) to (i). (a) is a raised enclosure which forms an elevated and protruding part of (d) which allows for the convenient insertion of the medicine dispenser.
(c) is a sliding shutter which allows for the penetration of the medicine dispenser and blocks such entry, by sliding the shutter in and out, after withdrawal of the medicine dispenser from the insertion opening ((b). (b) is the insertion opening for the syringe entry to dispense medicine or vitamins. (d) is the nurser and medicine dispenser's body which incorporates all of the improvements except for the syringe application.
(e) is the invention's enclosure location from which the opening is positioned diagonally upward in an angle and which starts from next to the bottle's neck (f).

(g) is the nipple which may receive and exit the administered medicine or vitamins either apart or together with the administered nursing liquids. Figure 2 is two staged entry syringe which measures and delivers medicine or vitamins to the nurser and medicine dispenser. (h) is the groove where the stopper ring may settle if it is
desired that the medicine or vitamins are to be administered together with the nursing liquids; this is accomplished due to the thickness of the ring which prevents further penetration of the syringe and by moving this ring to the desired groove location.
(i) has the same function as (h) except that it is set further back and allows for dipper penetration of the syringe to reach the nipple in the event that medicine or vitamins
are required to be administered immediately after feeding or without any nurser liquids.
