Abstract

The proposed ski has an internal structure comprising one or more synthetic resin fibre tubes, the fibre structure of a tube (11) taking the form of a hose of textile knitted fabric.

Description

Ski ski
The invention relates to a ski with an inner construction made of one or more synthetic resin-fiber tubes.
Skis of this type are known, the synthetic resin-fibrous tubes being placed under internal pressure in the production mold, as a result of which the tubes expand in the space determined by the mold cavity and by other components inserted into the mold cavity. In many cases, it is also provided that a thin-walled hose made of flexible or stretchable plastic material is arranged inside a synthetic resin-fibrous tube. A recent development of this construction is known from WO-94/28984-A1.
Building on this, the object of the invention is to improve the processing of the synthetic resin-fiber material tubes in the mold cavity.
This is achieved according to the invention in that the fibrous structure of a tube is designed as a tube made of textile knitted fabric.
The use according to the invention of textile knitwear instead of the previously customary fabrics or braids as the fibrous material of the synthetic resin-fibrous tubes has the advantage that the tubes expand during internal pressure, e.g. by compressed air, better adapt to the different spatial conditions inside the ski in the course of the longitudinal extension of the ski, because knitwear has a more variable elongation behavior than e.g. a tissue. This applies even if the tubular fibrous structure made of knitted fabric is originally (i.e. before being deformed or expanded in the manufacturing mold) of uniform diameter or circumference over the entire length (of the ski).
The tubular fibrous structure for the synthetic resin-fibrous tubes can preferably consist of knitted knitted fabric, but basically of knitted knitted fabric. The knitted fabric preferably consists of threads made of glass fibers and / or carbon fibers.
The invention is explained below with reference to the drawings by an embodiment.
Fig. 1 shows a manufacturing stage of a ski and Fig. 2 shows a cross section of a finished ski.
Epoxidharz, getränkt.1, the components of the ski have been inserted into the mold cavity between the lower mold 10 and the upper mold 14 and the production mold has been closed. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the inserted ski components consist of the outsole covering 1, the steel edges 2, the cover film 8 (shell), preferably made of unreinforced plastic, the synthetic resin-fiber material tubes 11 and the inner (and folded) hoses 12 made of airtight plastic material. Material. The also tubular fibrous structure in the synthetic resin-fibrous tubes consists according to the invention of textile knitwear, e.g. a tubular knitted fabric made of threads, preferably made of glass fibers and / or carbon fibers. The tubular fibrous structures made of knitted fabric are covered with a synthetic resin, e.g. Epoxy resin, soaked.
The inner tubes 12 are e.g. connected to a compressed air supply at one of the longitudinal ends of the mold cavity. By opening the compressed air supply, the inner thighs 12 are inflated, whereby they expand and / or expand. As a result, the cover sheet 8 lies against the inner mold wall of the upper mold 14 and the synthetic resin-fiber material tubes 11 are deformed such that they - as a hollow body - fill the interior between the cover sheet 8 and the lower assembly 1, 2 of the ski, finally - after the plastic has hardened - a ski with a cross section according to FIG. 2 is produced.
It proves to be advantageous that according to the invention the tubular fibrous structures of the synthetic resin-fibrous tubes 11 made of knitted fabric, e.g. knitted knitwear, because the height of the interior varies in the course of the longitudinal extent of the ski and therefore a different stretching of the synthetic resin-fibrous tubes 11 is required depending on the longitudinal position.
Die Wände 5,5',6,6' der Hohlkammern bestehen aus faserverstärktem Kunststoff und bestehen aus den verformten und ausgehärteten Rohrwänden der Kunstharz-Faserstoff-Röhren 11 (Fig. 1). 2 has a lower flat assembly (here consisting of outsole 1 and steel edges 2), an upper shell formed by the cover film 8 and an inner hollow body 4 with (in the case shown) three hollow chambers 4 '. The walls 5,5 ', 6,6' of the hollow chambers consist of fiber-reinforced plastic and consist of the deformed and hardened tube walls of the synthetic resin-fiber material tubes 11 (FIG. 1).
