Description

LOAD TRANSPORTING DEVICE
The invent in question is a load transporting device to be connected at the transpoπstand that is assembled at the back of the car This equipment can be used to transport for
Figure imgf000003_0001
ski's etc that are difficult to place in a car because of their size
GeneralK known are especially at the cars roof placed different types of ski transportequipment and boxes The problems with these are that a rooftransportde\ ice is difficult, because the connecting of them on the roof requires much work and on many new cars specialequipment are required at the roof of the car The use of the roortranspoπdevice has advantiges but loading them is difficult and heaw work, because the load has to be lifted above the cars roof Further rooftransportdevices and boxes for new cars are expensive
The idea with the invention in question is to make it possible to adapt the load transpoπingdevice on the car without any therefor specially carbrand made device At the same time a multiuse of the transpoπutility is made possible without any need to lift the load above the roof
The idea will be achieved through the marks that are significant for this transportdevice More exactly said, the significancy of this transpoπdevice is that the transpoπdevice consists of a frame where are two ends, the pipetype adaptation and/or adhesionparts like bolts: for at least one uphold to connect the framepaπ to the transpoπstand: the loadsuppoπing uphold like the crossbar in the first end of the transpoπdevice. and the in the other end located loaduptak g wirebasket
The frame the invention is made for ex of a lightweight pipetyped material. It is possible to quick connect the transpoπdevice to the transpoπstand with the therefor made connectionpaπs
The transpoπde\ ice is fuπher equiped with organs that will ease the connection and suppoπ the load The transpoπdevice is easy to release from the transpoπstand Fuπher it is possible to take apaπ and will so take verv little space . therefor it can easeK be brought with in the cars luggagebox where it will take only a small pan of the space in the luggagebox The transpoπdevice is when taken in use ver easey to put in workingcondition and to connect at the piace therefor at the backend of the car The transpoπdevice will be aπanged at the transpoπstand at the backend of the car with the coπnectingpaπs Because of the changeabilm of the upholds it can be adapted to all types of cars The traπspoπde\ ice is when connected
Figure imgf000003_0002
stable and will according to the material it is made of carry a remarkable weu-ht Great advantages can be achieved with use of this transpoπdevice. For ex. the connection of the transpoπdevice is is very easy and quick. It can be used on most at market used transpoπstands and it does not need any additional or special equipments to adapt. We check the invention more in detail in the following with suppoπ from then pictures where figure 1 is showed a drawing from the side the transpoπdevice connected to the back of the car. figure 2 shows the transpoπdevice from the front. figure 3 shows the transpoπdevice connected to a transpoπstand for a car without a hook for pulling. figure 4 shows a detaildrawing for connecting from figure 3 . figure 5 shows a transpoπdevice connected to a transpoπstand for a car with a hook for pulling, and figure 6 shows a detaildrawing for connecting from figure 5 The figures showes one of the ideas of the invention for the transpoπdevice. which consists of a from a piperyped mateπal assembled especially stiff frame 1. The device consists fuπher of a in the other end 2 beeing load suppoπ g organ 3 and in the other end of the frame 4 beeing at least one in the transpoπstand connected uphold 5. In the other end of the frame is fuπher an organ 6 for uptakmg of the earned load like a wirebasket. In the first end 2 of the transpoπutility are two advantageous parallel! bendings 7 where when at the transpoπstand 8 connected transpoπdevice's upper end will be located very close to the caπin. Because of the bendings 7 the frame 1 will have a form that will prevent the loaded goods to move to the sides and it will also be easy to load.
The transportdevice is for ex. according to fig. 3 connected to a transpoπstand adapted for a "hookless" car and with straps for fastening the transpoπstand 8 at the back of the car At the transpoπdevice is for this according to figure 4 pipetyped adaptionpaπs 9. that are connected with connectionpaπs 10. for ex. bolts to the frame 1 making it possible for the frame to twist according to connectmgpaπ 9 These adaptionpans are anan ed to the transpoπstands 8 veπicalpipes 1 1. and the anangement is fixed with for ex. two hinge 12 In this way with the twistable connection between the transponstand and the transpoπdevice the inclination can be choosed according to the fixing of the upholds 5. In the upholds are holes 13. so they can be fixed with tools 14. for ex. bolts and screws, to the transpoπdevice and to the at the backend of the car adapted transpoπstand 8 so . that a suitable inclination can be achieved. The transpoπutility can also adapted according to figure 5 to a "hooktranspoπstand"
8.
For this must bore holes 16 into the basepipes 15 of the "hooktranspoπstand" 8 for adapting of the connectionpaπs 10 and and the upholds 5 In this case you dont need am adaptionorgans 9 . but it is adapted to the transpoπstand with for ex. bolts see figure 6. The changable connectmgpoints at the upholds 5 on the transpoπdevice makes the use of the transpoπdevice possible with different types of cars. In this case the fixingpoints of the upholds in the transpoπstand 8 and . or the transpoπdeviceframe 1 will be choosen differentlv depending if the car is a sedan . hatchback or a upπghtbackcar. The uphold's 5 fϊxingpoint is easy to change, because there are already fixingpoints for the most common cartypes. The transpoπdevice is its upper end 2 equipped with a "soft cover ' 17 . that will prevent the transpoπdevice from damaging the car or the carpainting.
The load transpoπed with the transpoπdevice are easely adapted and tightened to the transpoπdevice with straps 18 . and there will be tight locked to for ex. the crossbar 3 and for ex. the upper end of the wirebasket 6.
The invention is not limited to the above mentioned performance but many different versions are possible according to the enclosed definition of the modelprotections inventory thouehts.
