Abstract

The proposed catalytic heating element comprises a gas-distributing pipe with a perforated surface. The outer surface of the pipe carries a layer of catalyst in the form of a gas-permeable ribbon substrate, to which an active component is applied. The catalyst layer has channels running parallel to the chamber's longitudinal axis.
