Background art
The renin-angiotensin system is known as a major pressor factor in living organisms. That is, active renin (proteolytic enzyme) secreted from the kidney specifically acts on a renin substrate (angiotensinogen) produced in the liver to produce angiotensin I (AI). This AI is converted to angiotensin II (All) by angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) produced in the lung, and it is thought that this All exhibits strong pressor activity. Therefore, the antagonist of ΑΠ can be used for treating cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension caused by ΑΠ.

Also, imidazole derivatives have been disclosed in many patent publications as non-peptidic ΑΠ antagonists. For example, JP-A-56-71074, JP-A-57-98270, JP-A-58-157768, JP-A-63-23868, JP-A-1-287707 and the like. The reaction mixture is stopped the reaction by suction filtration through a glass fiber filter one (Wh a tma n GF / B filter), and receptor-bound [3 H] one Angi O Tianjin Π and free [ [ 3H] Angiotensin II was isolated. After rinsing the filter with a washing buffer (10 mM HEPES, pH 7.4), the amount of radiation adsorbed on the filter was measured using a liquid scintillation counter (Beckman). Nonspecific binding was determined by reacting the addition of unlabeled Angi O Tianjin II of 10 one 5 M.
