Abstract

Improvements relating to devices for ventilating burial vaults consisting of the combination of, firstly, openings in the form of perforations in the shell (6) of the vault (7), said perforations being provided with sealing glands (1, 2) fitted to the end of air intake and outlet tubing (4) and, secondly, a perforated pipe descending to the vault bottom and having, along its whole length, a series of perforations (12) for the homogeneous distribution of outside air in all the chambers. The invention also generally concerns sealed vaults or tomb recesses in reinforced concrete or other material, having a dual flow ventilating system consisting of the intake for pure air and an outlet for filtered air. The main application, however, is in burial vaults of the type having several superimposed chambers.

Perfectionnements apportés aux dispositifs d'aération des caveaux mortuaires ou enfeux étanches pourvus d'un système d'aération à double flux, entrée d'air pur et sortie d'air filtré, et s'appliquant en particulier aux caveaux comportant plusieurs cellules, caractérisé par la combinaison, d'une part, de pénétrations constituées de perforations circulaires pratiquées dans 1'enveloppe (6) du caveau (7), la traversée de ces perforations s'effectuant grâce à des presse-étoupes (1, 2) parfaitement étanches ajustés à l'extrémité des conduits d'entrée (3) et de sortie (4) et, d'autre part, d'un tuyau perforé (5) raccordé à l'arrivée d'air du système d'aération (13), et pourvu sur toute sa longueur de perforations (12) dont la disposition est déterminée pour que 1'air soit réparti de manière homogène dans l'ensemble du caveau, en particulier lorsque celui-ci comporte plusieurs cellules. _ .1 °.
