Abstract

Procédé d'obtention d'un revêtement protecteur sur un article en carbone consistant à préparer un liant phosphaté à partir d'acide ortho-phosphorique, d'alkali, de phosphate de manganèse et d'un composé de silicium soluble dans l'eau, à mélanger ledit liant avec une matière de charge contenant du bore de manière à obtenir une suspension, puis à appliquer la suspension sur le carbone et à procéder à un séchage. On procède au séchage dans une atmosphère inerte jusqu'à la température de durcissement irreversible du revêtement à une vitesse de montée de température correspondant à celle de la déshydratation des composés phosphatés.
