Abstract
Game for hockey, soccer or similar with the players (F) freely movable on the playground (SP) through steering via on both sides of the playground (SP) arranged magnets (M1 resp. M2) with such effect that the player (F) also can be turned by means of a stick (HS) connected to the magnet (M2) preferably by handmanoeuvering of the playing participant.
Description
GAME FOR HOCKEY, SOCCER OR SIMILAR
The present invention refers to a game to be played by two or more participants according to the introductory part of the claim. The players, preferably ice-hockey or soccer players, are arranged in such a way that they can freely be moved and turned horisontally for passing and goal shots.
Similar games of this kind are existing and with the intention to appear as close as possible to real ice- hockey and soccer games i.e. with a ice-hockeypuck res- pectively a football.
Such a known game device consist of a playground with slices wich in general are arranged in parallell with the long side of the playground. The players are mounted and connected to a mechanical bar (pinion) device, which are arranged underneath the playground. By means of a gear arrangement, the player can be moved back and forth in parallell with the longside of the playground by pulling and pushing the bar as well as turned for passing and shots.
A not neglectable disadvantage with this kind of bar and gear arrangement is the fact that the players are re¬ stricted to only be moved along the previous mentioned slices of the playground. Those slices also neccessiates a not realistic size of the puck or the football.
According to another known game arrangement, the players can however be freely moved over the entire playground. The player is manoeuvred and moved by a bar at which end a single pole magnet is connected. The bar and the magnet is placed underneath the playground. The magnet on the bar attracts another pole turned magnet which is con¬ nected to the foot side of the player. This arrangement is restricted however to only move the player and does not have the possibility to turn around the player.
For both of the above described games an obvious dis- advantage exists i.e. that the bar in certain position
can end up far outside the playground when they are pulled out fully.
The purpose of this and in the following presented inven¬ tion is to by the most eliminate the described dis-
advantages and at the same time achieve a more realistic play-game. This purpose is achived by the game according to the invention having been given the features of the characterizing part of the claim. The design example described in the following seems most likely to show that the purpose is achived.
Attached fig. 1 shows a player F with an ice-hockey stick. The player is movable on the playground SP by a magnet arrangement which is described by the following:
A magnet Ml is attached to the feets of the player F. A second magnet M 2, with it's attached vertical stick H S, is placed directly under the player F, and it's magnet 1, but separated by the playground S P.
The separated poles N and S, respectively S and N, of the two magnets M 1 and M 2 is by this arrangement turned to each other at the playground S P.
The magnets M 1 and M 2 can also be made of two single pole magnets, i.e. N and N respectively S and S magnet. By the vertical stick H S, and it's attached magnet M 2, respectively the player F, and it's attached magnet M 1 the player F can be moved and horisσntally turned around by twisting the vertical stick H S. This is showed as hand manouver H whereby the turningeffeet will be decided by the magnet poles N and S. alt. S and it's internal position and distance. The magnets M 1 and M 2 are choos- en to suite the kind of player in the game i.e. as an example a soccer or hockey game. The same applies for the playground-table which must be considered to be made such that the neccessary space will be available for several participants in the game and their hands.
SUBSTITUTE SHEET
As an alternative to the showed direct hand manoeuvering H of the player F, can within the scope of the invention also indirect hand manoeuvering of certain players be made by connecting a short bar (pinion) with a gear arrangement to the verticall stick H S.
The invention hereby described must not be limited to the showed example, but rather include variations, combina¬ tions or applications which will fall within the scope of the claim.
