Abstract
The invention is a lavatory seat (2) whose hinges (5) are placed on the sides of the cistern (4) and a little bit higher than the level of the lavatory seat (2). The lid (3) is fixed to the lavatory seat (2) with hinges. When the lavatory seat is opened, the whole top area of the water closet is easy to clean.
Description
LAVATORY SEAT
The invention relates to a device according to the preamble of claim 1.
It is well-known that many men, except the present writer and some other people, releive theirselves beside the toil
That is very unsanitary. Also for other reasons the area around the toiletseat will be very dirty and unfresh.
The design of the toilet seat with a seat to sit on and a lid and the position of the hinges makes the seat difficult to keep nice and clean.
The object of the invention is to solve the problem of the culties keeping the toilet seats clean.
The invention solves this problem.
The solution of the problem will be evident in the characterizing part of claim 1.
An embodiment of the invention is generally shown in the enclosed drawing.
Fig. 1 shows the invention on a new, for the invention, adapted toilet seat.
Fig. 2 shows a modification of the invention for an older toilet seat.
Fig. 3 shows modifications of Fig. 2 for adaptions of toilet seats arranged on flushing tanks with different widths.
According the figures the hinges for the seat is positione on both sides of the flushing tank and a bit higher than the seat which is bent to the seat. When the seat is pushe to its upright position, the seat will be getting away from, depending on the angel, the area which is difficult to keep clean.
Claims
1. A lavatory seat who is pivotingly attached to the cistern of the water closet and whose lid is fixed to it with hinges, and where the distinguishing feature is that the lavatory seat (2) closest to the cistern (4) has two legs (6), who whwn the lavatory seat (2) is in its lower position, are bent upwards and with their free legs (6) pivotically fixed to two opposite sides of the cistern (4), the sides who are perpendicular to the frontside of the cistern (4).
2. Lavatory seat according to claim 1, where one of the distinguishing features is that the two legs (6) are elastic so that lavatory seat and lid are easy to remove.
3.Lavatory seat according to the previous claims where the distinguishing feature is that the hinges (5) can be placed on the sides of the cistern (4) when fixed to an older water closet.
4. A lavatory seat according to the previous claims where the distinguishing feature is that it is adapted to cisterns (4) of different breadths.
