It is these that are particularly critical in entraining the straw and initiating the bale forming process and, as mentioned above, in some circumstances they fail to do this.

  • the belt is not an endless loop, which would be impossible to fit without quite a bit of dismantling. Abstract

Une machine à faire des balles rondes possède deux rouleaux parallèles (1) situés sur un élément cylindrique qui entraîne la paille ou un autre matériau et lui donne la forme d'une balle cylindrique. Une courroie (3) servant à rassembler un groupe de rouleaux de ce type (7) est aussi large que l'écartement latéral des rouleaux et elle possède un joint ouvrant de sorte qu'elle peut être mise en place ou enlevée sans toucher aux rouleaux et sans adapter aucun élément à la machine. Le joint peut être formé par des bandes (4) de tissu à enchevêtrement réciproque fixés et/ou soudés aux extrémités de la courroie (3), il est préférablement réalisé dans un matériau recouvert de polyuréthane, offrant un ajustement presque parfait sur une surface limitée.
