Abstract

Process and device for washing rollers (7) having a fibrous coating, in particular for dampening rollers or brushing rollers of printing machines or similar. Compaction of the roller coating due to washing is prevented by centrifuging the washing liquid at high rotational speed. The roller can be driven by excentric impact of a jet (13) of the washing liquid on the surface of the roller.
