Eine Nutzung der Flugphase zu Flügen mit grös- serer Länge ist jedoch bei aufrechter Stellung des Mastes bzw. bei geneigtem Mast infolge der einseitig schrägen Stellung des Segels nicht möglich.

Dem Benutzer 'der Se¬ gelvorrichtung ist dadurch Gelegenheit gegeben, die Segelvorrichtung wahlweise als Gleitvorrichtung oder Flugvorrichtung zum Einsatz zu bringen. Es entspricht dem Erfindungsgedanken, daß die schwenk- und kippbare Ausbildung des Mastes bei beliebigen Segelvorrichtungen oder bei Gleitkörpern, z.B. einem Wasserski oder Schnee- gleitern in Anwendung gebracht werden kann.
