PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A SHOE 0R SIMILAR ARTICLE Leo Sholtz, New York, N. Y.

Application January 22, 1936, Serial No. 60,723 Term of patent 3% years To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Leo Sholtz, a citizen of the United States, residing in New York city, in the county of New York and in the State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Shoe or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

Figure 1 is a plan View of a shoe, showing my new design.

Figure 2 is a side perspective view of the shoe.

The characteristic feature of my design resides in the combination in a shoe of the oxford-pump type of a. pointed toe cap directed upwardly toward the instep of the vamp, an overlapping portion extending from the throat and overlapping the point of the cap, and straps extending from each side of the sole upwardly and passing under the overlapping portion, said straps being relatively wide near the sole and relatively narrow near the throat of the shoe.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a shoe or similar article, substantially as shown and described.
