PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A SHOE Josephine Davies, New York, N. Y., assignor to Scholnick Shoe 00., Jamaica. Plain, Mass., a corporation of Massachusetts Application February 21, 1935, Serial No. 55,529

Term of patent 3% years To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Josephine Davies, a citizen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, residing at New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Shoe, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, in which Fig. 1 is a view in side elevation of a shoe showing my new design; and

Fig. 2 is a plan view of the forepart of the shoe.

The ornamental effect of my design resides in two curved lines of ornamental stitching which spring as one, unsymmetrically, from a point half way round the curve of the throat and then diverge, one extending forwardly in a curve to a point at one side of the tip of the shoe and the other extending rearwardly in a curve to a point on the upper edge of the quarter, the sides of the shoe being thus rendered strikingly dissimilar.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a shoe substantially gs shown and described.
