EMIL CRISAND, OF NEW HAVEN, CONNECTIUUT, ASSIGNOR TO HENRY ST. JOHN, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR AN EMBROIDERY-PATTERN.
Specification forming part of Design No. 9,439. dated August 15, 1876; application filed July 24, 1876. [Term of Patent 31 years.)
To all whom it 11mg] concern:
Be it known that I, EMIL GRISAND, of New Haven, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for Embroidery-Pnttern; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the nccompninving drawings, to he a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent a face new.
This invention relates to a design for embroidery-patterns, with special reference to perforated board, the object being to indicate on the surface of the board the stitches to be taken to produce the desired pattern.
It consists in the motto Be Not Weary in Well Doing, and also it bouquet of flowers combined with the said motto.
The letters composing the motto are arranged as shown in the illustration, with a, trscery interwoven with the words.
In addition to the motto there is a bouquet of flowers forming a. head ornament to the motto; but the motto may be used without the bouquet.
I claim- 1. The design for BlllblOldCIj-Plttelll, deserihethend shown in the illustration, consisting of the words Be Not \Veery in ell Doing.
2. The herein-described design for embroidery-pattern, consisting of e bouquet of flowers and the motto Be Not \Veery in \Vell Doing, as shown in the accompanying illustration.
