COOPER, of Lancaster, in the county of Erie and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Carriage-Steps, of which the following is a l'ull, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, making part of this specication.

The nature of my design is fully represented in the accompanying drawing, in which- Figure l is a top-plan View of a carriagestep; and Fig. 2, a longitudinal section in line w, Fig. 1.

I claim as my invention- A design for a carriage-step, consisting of the central bar A, transverse bars b, arranged on both sides thereof, and inclosing lyreshaped band c, substantially as shown and described.
