Specification forming part of Design No. 8,937, dated February 1, 1876; application filed December 30, 1875.

Be it known that I, GEORGE W. GILL, of the city and county of Philadelphia, in the State of Pennsylvania, have originated and designed at Centennial Locket, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying photograhic illustration, making part of this specification.

The nature of my design is fully represented in the accompanying photographic illustration, to which reference is made.

A, on one side of the locket, represents the original State House in Philadelphia, having the date 1776; and B, on the other side of the locket, represents Memorial Hall, one of the Centennial buildings, with the date 1876, the two buildings in connection, and the dates, in-
