DESIGN FOR FIRE-IRON STANDS.
Specification forming part of Design No. 5,285, dated September 26, 1871.
To all whom 'it may concern:
Be it known that I, AnoLPH WUNDER, of the city and county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new and original Design for Fire-Iron Stand; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawing and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description, and which said drawing constitutes part of this specification, and represents a perspective view.
This invention relates to a design for the article of household use commonly termed fire-iron stand, designed to support the shovel, tongs, 850., used about the fire and the invention consists in the peculiar configuration of stand, as shown, in the accompanyingillustration.
The stand is composed of three parts, viz., the pan, the post, and the arms, each part of the form shown in the illustration. These three parts may be used together, as shown, or one or more of them may be used with other parts of different configuration. I, therefore, do not confine my self to the design of the three parts combined; but
I do claim The design for fire-ironstand parts, together or separately, as shown and described.
