DESIGN FOR .A TACK-HEAD.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.

To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, ORIN L. BASSETT, of Tnnntfon, in the count-y of Bristol, and State of Massachusetts, have invented a. new and original Design for n, Tack- Head; and I do hereby declare that; the following isn full, clear, and exact. description thereof, which willenable others skilled in the nrt to make and use the same, reerenceheinghad to theaccompartyingdrmvingsforming pmt of this specification, in which the figure is n. perspective view cfa. tack illustrating my design.

My invention has for its object to furnish nn irnproved design for the heads of tacks, shoemails, Sac.; and

It consists in the design herein shown and described.

M is the body of the tack, which may be made with a. tack-point, or with a. nail-point, according to the purpose for which it is to be nsed.

N is the head of the tack, which is made circular in its general form, and the upper surface of' which is struck up into the form shown in the gnre; that is to ssj, the central pan-t n* of the upper surface of the seid head N is mnde in the form of n segment ot' a. sphere, and is surrounded hy a. series of six, more or less, segments of cones, n, having their npexes toward t-he centre ot' said tinck-head, :is shown.

Having thus described my invention, 1 clnim as new, and desire to secure hy Letters Patent- .Ihe design for a. teck-head, herein shown and described.
