DESIGN FOR A BACK FOR BRUSHES, MIRRORS, OR SIMILAR ARTICLES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,770; dated February 25, 1902.
Application filed December 12, 1901. Serial No. 85,706- Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ALEXANDER GEIGES, of
Wallingford, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut,have invented anew and useful Design for a Back for a Brush, Mirror, or Similar Article; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent, in
Figure 1; a face view of a back for a brush, mirror, or similar article embodying my de sign; Fig. 2, an edge view of the same.
This design relates to a design for a back for a brush, mirror, or similar article; and the design consists in the configuration and ornamentation hereinafter described, and shown in the accompanying illustration.
The shape of the main portion of the back is substantially oval, with the handle portion projecting from one end. The surface of the back is ornamented with conventionalized scrolls A, which extend substantially around the back and handle, meeting at the opposite ends. Upon these scrolls are full-blown pop pies B and buds C, the scrolls on the handle portion inolosing a letter plate or panel D.
Having fully described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a back for a brush; mirror or similar article as herein shown and de= scribed.
