DESIGN FOR A PICTURE-FRAME.
SPECIFICATION ferming part of Design No. 34,886, dated August 6, 1901.
Application filed July B, 1901. Serial No. 67,547. Term of patent I4 years.
To all whom t may concern.-
Be it known that We, GEORGE E. GOUDIE, residing at North Evanston, and HENRY H. HENLEY, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, citizens of the United States, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Picture-Frame, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a new and originaldesign for apictnre-frame; and the essential features of the design reside in the frame as illustrated in the accompanying facsimile drawings, wherein- Figure 1 is a plan View of a frame embodying the features of the design. Fig. 2 is a transverse vertical section through a portion of the same to show the body.
The design is characterized by a body l, having thereon a series of members 2, with arrow-head terminals 3 and transverse enlargements 4 at one extremity of each, the said members being disposed to bring the said enlargements in alternate reverse arrangement. The sides of the frame have center panels 5, with twin-pointed ornaments z5 6 in reverse positions at opposite sides. At the center of one end is a number of the members 2, and at the opposite end is a long panel 7, having a plurality of edge ornaments S, similar to the twin ornaments G and also 3o having members 9, approximating the members 2 in shape. The frame also has inwardly and outwardly projecting corner orn anicnts 10 and adjacent stars Il, trefoils 12, and circularly-indented squares 123.
Having thus described the invention, what is claimed as new is- The design for a picture-frame, herein shown and described.
