DESIGN FOR AN ADVERTISING-CARD.

SPECIFICATION formingpart of Design No. 34,120, dated February 19, 1901.

Application filed January 21, 1901. Serial No. 44,219- Term of patent 7 years.

Be it known that I, FRANK E. HOUSH, a citizen of the United States, residing at Boston, in the county of Suffolk and State of .Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design foran Ad vertising-Oard, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part hereof, in which- Figure 1 is a plan View of an advertisingcard, showing my new design. Fig. 2 is a sectional view on line 2 of Fig. 1.

As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists in the advertising-card, rectangular in outline and provided with two square spaces a, and 1), substantially as shown in the drawings, the space a being recessed or depressed below the general surface of the card, while the space I) is elevated above the general surface of the card. This feature of elevation and depression of the two elements of my design is shown most distinctlyin Fig. 2. Around and surrounding these square spaces is the plane surface of the card 0.

Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
