DESIGN FOR A SCALE-POISE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,109, dated August 21, 1900. Application filed June 1, 1900. Serial No. 19,081. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, EDWIN FINN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Elkhart, county of Elkhart, State of Indiana, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Scale-Poise, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 is a direct front elevation of a scale-poise of my design. Fig. 2 is an edge elevation of the same. Fig. 3 is a perspective view of the same. 4
The scale-poise of my new design is substantially rectangular in front View. In edge view or vertical section (see Fig. 2) it isseen to be hollow or open from lateral edge to lateral edge, the apertures being very thin or narrow relatively to its length or dimension vertically, as presented in the views.
The salient or most prominent feature of this design consists of the prominent narrow ribs or beads A A, which project from the upper and lower ends of the poise, extending in the direction of the width and located midway in the thickness or least dimension of the poise. These ribs or beads are marked by a plurality of small prominences a a, distributed throughout the length of the beads upon both sides thereof.
I claim- The design for a scalepoise, herein shown and described.
