DESIGN FOR A BASE-PLATE FOR SCALES.

Be it known that I, ORANGE O. OZIAS, a citizen of the United States of America, residing and having my post-office address in Dayton,

in the county of Montgomery and State of Ohio, have inventeda certain new and original Design for a Base-Plate for a Scale; and I hereby declare that the following is a clear, full, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, in which like figures refer to like parts.

The figure in the drawing illustrates a perspective View of a base-plate for a scale formed in accordance with my invention and design.

The leading or material feature of my design consists of a rectangular plate having projections from one face thereof and adjacent the corners of said plate, a circular ring within the edges of said plate, and arms extending toward the center of said ring.

In said drawing, 10 represents said rectangular plate. 11 represents said projections from one face of said plate 10 and adjacent the corners thereof. 12 represents said ring within the edges of said plate 10, and 14 represents said arms extending toward the center ot said ring 12.

What 1 claim is- The design for abase-plate for a scale, sub stantially as shown and described.
