DESIGN FOR A TRUCK-FRAME.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design N o. 31 ,195, dated July 11, 1899. Application filed June 16, 1899. Serial No- 720,'781. Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, CALEB B. TRIPP, a citizen of the United States, residing at Calico, in the county of Pitt and State of North Carolina, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Truck-Frame, of which the following is a specification.

The invention relates to a new and original design for a truck-frame; and it has for its object to provide a design of this character that shall be both useful and ornamental.

1 The essential feature of the design resides a rectangular upper portion and having V-shaped lower side portions arranged beneath the side bars of the rectangular upper portion and forming with the same triangular sides for the truck.

.A minor feature of the design resides in the handle extensionof the outer terminals of the inclined members of the V-shaped side portions and in the vertical standards arranged at the corners of the rectangular upper portion-of the frame.

In the drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective view of a truck-frame, showing my new and original design. Fig. 2 is a similar View, the truck-frame being inverted.

Referring to the drawings, 1 designates a ingwith the side bars2 truck-frame provided with a rectangular upper portion composed of parallel sides 2 and ends 3, connecting the sides near the terminals thereof, and the said rectangular upper portion is provided at its corners with vertical standards 4, extending upward from the projecting terminals of the side bars 2. The side bars 2 are connected between their ends ba transverse bars 5, arranged parallel with te ends 3 of the rectangular upper portion of the truck. The truck-frame is provided with depending lower V-shaped side portions 6, composed of inclined members, cooperatto form approximately triangular sides for the truck and having their outer portions 7 curved and projecting beyond the rectangular portion of the frame to form handle extensions.

What is claimed is- The design for a truck-frame herein shown and described.
