SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,892, dated December 2'7, 1898. Application filed November 1,1898. Serial No. 695,243. Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, WEBSTER O. NELSON, a citizen of the United States, residing at Victor, in the county of Iowa and State of Iowa, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Railway Splice-Bar, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

Figure 1 is a perspective of my splice-bar, and Fig. 2 is a transverse sectional view thereof, and jointly considered they clearly show the contour of the bar and its novel features relative to the art to which my invention pertains.

The letter A designates the solid body portion provided with a plurality of transverse bolt-holes in a line that is midway between its top and bottom.
