DESIGN FOR FABRIC.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,608, dated November 1, 1898.

Application filed May 26, 1898. Serial No. 681,847. Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, ROBERT J. PETERSON, a citizen of the United States, residing at Mount Vernon, county of Westchester, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Fabric or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification.

My invention resides in the design for a fabric or similar article.

The design consists substantially in a series of straight-line bars 1 2, the bars being disposed parallel to each other and to the sides 3-that is to say, the bars are disposed and run in the direction of the length of the fab ric, said length being indicated by the direction of the side lines 8.

The bars 1 2 are intended to contrast in color or shade and being separated leave white or uncolored bars or spaces 4: between them, which spaces are parallel with the bars 1 2, upon which are produced ranges of stars 5 of a color contrasting in color with the spaces 4:.

Having described my invention, I claim The design for a fabric or similar article, substantially as herein shown and described;
